We visited Phi2 island on our short getaway... Phi2 palm tree itself complemented our lovely vacation.
These are the few good things about this place:
- beautiful, modern and comfortable room
- a good variety of cooked breakfast
- pool side rooms that enables you to jump right into the pool from your room

A good choice if you opt to stay in town and on a moderate budget.
I will definitely choose this place again the next time!!
To phi2 island with love.....

My best friend and I stayed for 5 nights costing approximately £300.00 we had plenty of friends from the UK staying around the island and we wanted to be central as the location was great. They have strict rules one being no visitors after 10pm - thats understandable but it seemed we weren't allowed visitors AT ALL apart from the ghost in our room!!

Our first night out we went out and got dropped to the hotel by our friends, the security guard didn't even let them within 1 metre outside the hotel it was like being at a Thai prison!! So in the morning the whole hotel staff knew all about it and made a big fuss, I mean lighten up!! Even the next night our friends came to pick us up from the hotel and yes the security guard were shoeing them away yet again, they had to start meeting us around the corner (Ridiculous)!!!!..

To make matters worst there was a ghost in our room and the feeling was super eerie a serious sleep paralysis but we had some shocking experiences which meant we always had leave and come back together but never alone, we told the receptionist and they were like.. we've never heard of this before? (yeah right) I know its not their fault but Phi Phi is haunted all over. The final straw was during the day we had a friend come and join us at the pool and the hotel staff came over and said they had to leave!! Because of our ridiculous experience we only stayed 2 nights and the other 3 nights it was our walk in closet were we'd only go back to shower and change luckily our friends accommodation were much friendlier and happy for us to stay where we continued at an apartment for another 5 days on the island!!..

I'm sure if you are a couple of men or If your on a romantic couples holiday you may have a different experience!!...

But if you are two hot women that want to party.. don't go there!!!.. You better off going to a no fuss hotel...

We stayed in the period while the pool was being renovated (still had access to next-door pool). We therefore stayed at a discount price. However we would be more than willing tO pay full price for this exceptional inner town resort. Staff were lovely and complimentary breakfast perfect!

We stayed here in May 2011 for two night to experience the Tonsai Bay area of Phi Phi Island (after staying on the other side in long beach.) This hotel has a great location right in the centre of the action but still far away enough from all the beach bars to get a good nights sleep.

I would say it's a 3 star standard but comfortable with all the necessary amenities for someone who doesn't want to spend too much time in their room. Rooms are clean and kept that way. We stayed in a Pool Access room which in my opinion is a must. (When I say pool access you don't actually 'swim' into the water from your terrace but it's right there. The pool is fairly small but good for a cool down. The pool bar was not open during out time there.

Breakfast was fine. Not a huge selection but they had all the standards - eggs, cereal etc.

The hotel is located a short 10 minute walk away from the beach or pier but surrounded by shops and dining options.

Hotel staff are friendly and communicate well in English - they met us at the pier and the bellboy took our luggage back when we were departing.

Having had a look at some of the other hotels I think this is one of the best options in Tonsai Bay.

We decided to stay in Ton Sai beach to be close to the port, the beaches and the bars/restaurants. It was absolute madness. There was a ton of foot traffic, it was hot and smelly all around. In retrospect we should have stayed in Long Beach. Regardless, thankfully the PP Palmtree provided us with an oasis in the middle of this crazy town. The hotel would probably be a 3star hotel in any other city but here it is very nice although not as cheap as other options. The pool is refreshing yet small. The rooms are adequate yet the beds are small but the air conditioning in the room is a necessity on this island. The breakfast was complimentary and the options were adequate. I would recommend this place to couples traveling together or anyone looking to spend a bit more yet be in the Ton Sai beach area.

Room Tip: Book online, it's the same price as on arrival
