Accomodation is very average. Firstly we arrived on Phi Phi with no accomodation pre-booked. All rooms were taken and this was our only option in our price bracket, (we budgeted £20 per night) however, I make the assumption this is the same for budget accomodation on Phi Phi. The first two nights we had a room with air con and a hot shower for £32 per night - ridiculously overpriced for what we had. We then moved to a room with a fan and cold shower for £16 pernight, again overpriced. It was like staying in a prison cell, no light except for obscure windows. Our room flooded following rainfall and all our luggage on the floor required washing, Based on previous experiences of rooms in Thailand I would pay £7 a night for this room. My understanding is that all rooms on Phi Phi are overpriced because of the destination and popularity, all budget accomodation seemed to be in this price bracket. If the option is available to you - book in advance but expect to pay a premium for being on Phi Phi. Staff were friendly and they cleaned the room after the flood and I could charge my MP3 player FOC, It had good facilites to book trips etc but unforunately the price of the rooms did not meet our expectations and I don't think other budget accomodation on Phi Phi will match it. this is a moan about Phi Phi accomodation overall and not just Phi Phi. Phi Phi used to be a lovely Paradise island pre-tsunami but has gone downhill in my estimations with the beach bars and nightlife, on the over hand, it has generated new business and turned it into sucess for the locals on the island which I wish them genuine fortune for the suffering they have experienced.

Disgusting dirty place with very unfriendly staff.. We booked for two nights and when we got home on the second night, it had been raining in and the bed was totally flooded, not possible to sleep in. As we spoke to the manager he didn't understand the problem. He offered us to sleep in the massageroom, but then he was going to charge us 700baht ?! Because it had aircon...and that is expensive.. When I said, that we didn't need the aircon he said he would still charge because there was electricity in the room and that is expensive?! We asked if we could sleep in our friends room, but then we would have to pay aswell!!! Full charge?! Ridiculous! We were asked to leave the hotel with our bags in the middle of the night, because of complaining about a flooded bed.. The "hotel" is also very dirty and full of mold. Would like to WARN everybody who is even thinking about booking this place. Even 1000 baht per night with aircon is a ridiculous price for that disgusting place...

This place is horrible, and way to expensive for what it is. I slept on the floor because the bed was full of bedbugs and when I told the woman at the reception about the bed bugs she said the back spots on the mattress wasn't bedbugs yeah of course. Anyway we only stayed one night and it was enought

Room Tip: Always check for bedbugs when you arrive in a room check the mattress

This hotel is disgusting, there were ants all over the place. You have to flush the toilet manually. The bathroom smells like a sewer. The rooms are very ugly and look like the ceiling can collapse any minute. We spent 800 baht per night.

one of the worst places ive stayed in years of travel. i think if you get a room in one of the other buildings, they are OK and probably worth the price. however, we were in the main building and it was disgusting. It is cheap, but it is not that cheap. the rooms were infested with ants and smelt of damp and one of the beds had bed bugs. the toilet smelt of sewage and was not very clean. i can understand that a place is run down, but a few hours after checking in we realised that the bed sheets had not been changed from the previous guests, they were covered in hair and stains. we went down to speak to the staff. they were watching tv and told us that they only work until 9.30pm so they couldnt help us. really annoying as there were 4 of them there! it was late so we ended up staying as we didnt want to waste money, i ended up getting bitten at least 20 times by bed bugs throughout the night. in the morning i went to complain and the lady pretended not to speak english and kept on saying check out 11. we went just up the road and found a room for the same price, which is a lot cleaner, has running water in the bathroom and even wifi. so if youre even considering staying at harmony, have a quick look around the corner up the steps and check out the guesthouses there too.

Room Tip: anything not in the main building is better. but the best rooms are in the other guesthouses.
