I'm a bit of a Thailand veteran and have visited many many times over the past 20 years, particularly in Samui & Pha Ngam . I can happily report that this place is every bit as good as the previous reviews suggest.
As well as being huge and aesthetically stunning, it's very comfortable with great beds ( if you're familiar with staying in Thai island resorts you'll know that this is often a problem area, especially for those with dodgy skeletons like me) and a perfectly treated salt water pool. There's excellent Wifi, big TVs with Netflix, a huge fridge freezer and even a cocktail shaker for Pina Coladas, the list is endless. The 3 staff are great, they keep the place shipshape and sparkling clean and make a big pot of fresh coffee every morning. They'll even run out to get supplies (usually beer) should you be as spectacularly lazy as I.
On top of all of this, there’s the hosts, Mika and his wife, Si. They are nothing short of wonderful, being charming, interesting, great fun, and helpful in the extreme. Si even cooked a fabulous meal for us.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
This house is awesome, it is designed 'open' style, so the outside comes into the main living area... this is soo nice compared to being stuck inside your house in europe. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful, with a/c also for a good nights sleep.
