Nok, the manager kindly agreed to collect us from Krabi airport for 2,000 Baht, which was about a 2 hour drive, including car ferry crossing.

We stayed in a first floor room in the block near the entrance, rather than one of the garden bungalows. The upstairs rooms have more privacy than the ground floor rooms, whose balconies open straight on to the walkway, not that many people go past and it is a small, friendly resort.

The room was a pleasantly sized, and modern, with a double and single bed. Plenty of space to leave two suitcases with easy access. The rooms have an adjoining door, so can double-up as family rooms. There was a TV, fridge, safe, some small snacks in a mini-bar with some beers and plenty of soft drinks and two free bottles of water provided daily. The air-conditioning was a dream, the quietest I’ve experienced and very efficient, too. The balcony had a bench ant towel rail. The bathroom was basic, but had hot and cold water. Everything was very clean and decorated well.

Breakfast and Wi-Fi were included with our booking. The breakfast is basic, but all you need. It included various egg options with ham or bacon, toast, tea, coffee, juice and some fruit. There are plenty of cafes surrounding the resort.

On site is a small swimming pool and a beach bar. There were sun loungers provided and were just about enough to go around.

The nearest shop is a 7-11, exit right from the resort and it is about 5 minutes walk down the main road. There are also a few tour operators, ATM’s and other shops in that direction.

I liked the accommodation a lot and would return. The only downsides I found were a lack of shelves in the bathroom to place your toiletries on and the edges of the beds. The beds have a wooden shelf surrounding them at shin height with blunt edges and sharp corners. Being in an unfamiliar room, I had a couple of nasty surprises when I caught my shins on them.

We had a need to find a pharmacy one evening and Nok, the manager was really helpful with her first aid kit. When she didn’t have what we needed, she arranged for a member of staff to give us a ride to the local pharmacy.

It is a good base for visiting beaches to the north and south, being roughly mid-way down the island. A tuc-tuc was about 150 Baht to Long Beach (north) and same for Klong Nin Beach (south). The beach the resort on is pleasant, too.

Room Tip: First floor if not booking a bungalow

The best feature of this hotel is its beach front location in the middle of Khong Klong beach. Hotel is modest but it has all you need: rooms and linen are clean, breakfast choise is limited, but we do not eat a lot in the mornings at home either, basic sun beds, if you want to stay at the hotel, small pool to dip in, if you do not want to swim in the sea. Little messy around, but friendly staff and efficient manager lady. All excursions she arranged us worked well. She also can drive you to places, if she has time. It was not noicy, as some say. We actually felt that it was perfectly situated in the half way of the bar end of the beach and the isolated stretch of the other end. Only minus is the hotel food. We tried it a couple of times. It was ok, but not as tasty as in some other restaurants in the area.

Room Tip: New part has nicer rooms by interior, but older bungalows have garden and terrace. Depends what you prefer...

The resort was very quiet, near the beach located place. Only small con was the rocky beach which wasn't the best for swimming, but pool was enough for us. Staff was so helpful, smiling and nice that we can easily recommend this place for couples anyday. Special thanks also to wonderful massage therapeutists Arn and Master-Banban (Banzai) who made our stay perfect.

Stayed for 3 nights with friends in a very comfy and clean room with AC which was working perfectly. Staff very helpful and kind. Location is perfect just a few meters from the beach with a swimming pool next to it. Motorbike rent, excursions booking, massages, every thing available at the front office. Food and breakfast is good but not exceptional. I really appreciated the complimentary Thai buffet they served for Christmas eve

We had a very nice stay in a new block of rooms that were very modern and spacious and were actually cheaper than the smaller rooms in the garden. Just meant you were a few more steps from the beach but only just. Included breakfast was nice although not a buffet. Nice location right on the beach and few nice restaurants nearby. We looked at several hotels in the area and this was the best value for money
