Firstly, cheers to the staff. The lady boss was very friendly and accomadating. The ladies in the reception were fantastic. We changed our plans last minute, and they were kind enough to give us back a refund. Helped us with the booking of ferries and even allowed us to stay pass out check out time for free. Thank you guys:)

Location of club is quite far in from the pier. But a short walk brings us out to a main street with tons of good cafes and restaurants. A five minutes ride brings you to the main pier. There is a standby taxi at the guard post. 50 bhat per pax per trip. Many restaurants and a few bars along the beach too. The best part about the location was the clean beach with a beautiful view of the sunset. One of the best i have seen in Thailand. Fantastic place for a run too.

They have a very decent pool with varying depth and a pool bar as well.

There was one down side though.
We lived in the bunglow beside the beach. It had a lot of insects because the mosquito net was torn. The room was decent.
On the contrary, our friends stayed in a room. Now this was perfect. Spacious, sea view, quick access to pool and beach and very comfortable. So consider taking a room if you dont enjoy sharing your room with nature.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Our family stayed at Laguna last year.
The pool is perfect for children and the resort is right on the main beach near Saladan Village.
There are plenty of beachfront restaurants and massage parlours and the local Thai people are really friendly - not pushy at all - which is good.
The WiFi worked well, there was always staff at the pool bar and beach bar and everybody was very friendly and happy to help.
This is a good option if you want an affordable resort on the beach.

Room Tip: Penthouse rooms have a great sea-view - perfect for families

The laguna beach club was really a great hotel. The rooms were clean, service was excellent, and the AC worked wonderfully. The pool was always clean and a nice place to hang out. Also, it's right on the beach. Rental scooter are a good value and are in great condition. Honestly, for the value I highly recommend it.
However, this beach had a bit more debris on it than some of the other beaches we visited on the island. Also, it's far from the southern part of the island, which is really beautiful. However, there are plenty of restaurants and bars close by, so it's convenient in that sense.

Stayed for 2 nights in the Deluxe bungalow, facing the pool and about 30m from the beach. The bungalow size is not big (additional bed is not possible) but adequate for us. Room is clean. Room facilities include a fridge, safety box, basic toileteries, flat TV (but with minimum english channel) and has no tea/coffee facilities. The pool is fairly big and clean. Has ample parking for motorbikes and cars.
Garden is emaculately maintained. Its location is really near the beach and its worth it to pay slightly extra for the poolside bungalow instead of the garden view as I love hearing the sound of wave especially at night. The beach is facing west & you can watch the spectacular sunset from the hotel restaurant or sundecks. Bicycle rental is available for bt100 per day.
You can walk southward along the beach for more options of restaurants, beach massage and walking path through to Saladan main road (after the Royal Lanta Hotel).
Strongly recommends this hotel and will definately be back.

Spacious accommodation right on the beach. You can eat cheaply at the resort or walk to a choice of beach front bars and restaurants easily. Shops and banks are also close by. It was low season, so only a few staff were working, but they were great and couldn't do enough for you. Really helpful with everything. Pim was fabulous, a lovely lady with lots of information to share.

Room Tip: The upstairs rooms are much brighter and lighter, it's a bit dark in the rooms downstairs.
