Total waste of time and money. It’s not a floating market in the real sense. If your tour options list this as one of the places, it’s no good for sure. Ayutthaya is beautiful, but this place feels like a Scam!

I visit during the piblic holidays so many people but yes very enjoy food and shopping.
Please visit here , the food is good price, they try to make you feel thai old style , by dress , how. They present food and drink.
High recommend
I am sure I will return to Ayutthaya, but I will not set foot at this place again. They scam you out of 200 baht at the entrance by making it look like all foreigner have to pay. From what I read other places - that is not the case, you buy a boat trip, but their location at the entrance makes it appear like it is mandatory. They stop you and say you must pay. On the website they say you can take a boatride, ticket office by the entrance. Their behaviour is just a scam. The place in itself is nicely made, so it could be nice. The service at the restaurant we chose was terrible, it looked like they did not want customers and they yelled at each other. Even though I don`t understand Thai, the tone was no good. Bedises I was there with two Thai nationals so I know they were not nice to each other. We also goot food poisoning here. 3 people who were together so no it was no doubt it was here.... Overall a bad experience
Our guide on the way to Ayutthaya took us to this village with floating market to give us an idea of how this functions.
It is set up for tourists. But the little boat trip around the village is lovely and we really enjoyed it.
This was included as part of a day trip from Bangkok that I had booked with take me tour.
WHY STILL THE ANIMALS??? ! It’s so sad, especially as the floating market is a really nice concept. We also heard many couples around us also disgusted seeing the sorry-looking tiger and elephants paraded.. Come on Thailand, surely by now you know it’s time to put away the animals, we all know it’s cruel and you will ruin your International business you if you don’t keep up with the times and do the right thing! Really really sad, if you are an animal lover do not go near.
Free for Thai people but 200bht for foreigners. I didn't go inside. There are plenty of real markets in Ayuthaya to choose from, Another one of those dual priced racist places where they feel its ok to extract money from white people because they think white people have more money.
