We were told this was the best in Bundi but was not comparable to other hotels we had stayed in which had all been what I felt were 4+ stars. I was pleased to find this hotel was of a high standard too and the hotel exterior and reception were quite dramatic. Room was a very good size and was clean and tidy. Yes there is some age to it but it was well maintained.

The hotel has a lovely pool area and places to sit and have a drink. Although the busy manic Bundi streets are close by the pool area is fairly well protected but of course you will hear the hooting of horns of course.

The hotel has some classic cars and bikes near reception and a shop for the ladies to enjoy. Floors are very tidy and tastefully decorated. If your room is a high number it can be a bit of walk down the long corridors.

There is no bar that I could see but the large dining room is well staffed and you can of course get service outside. We could not put the drinks on the room though and paid upfront. A large bottle of beer was the cheapest we had seen so far.

Staff were very professional and overall had a good service.

Avery nice building with a good pool, beautiful artworks around,a classic car collection. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was disappointing and there was a poblem with the wifi during our stay. A quiet location if a bit far out, but plenty of tuks. Well worth visiting the stepwells within walking distance, and the palace and the old town, which has ample cafes.

Beautifully designed for the visitors attraction! For visitors, such a beautiful hotel is surely a point of attraction in a small place like Bundi.
Displayed trip advisors star rating everywhere in every corner..Collection of vintage cars and royal family palanquin and photographs indeed make this hotel a worth watching!

But a huge amount of disappointment comes here with the food quality which they are offering..It's really very disappointing...Absolute disgusting as even the Indian food is not up to the mark in a hotel claimed as a star rated...Secondly the front desk day staffs are not at all cordial and it seems they are least interested in communication with the visitors.Really they should be trained properly regarding communication and the management or the owner of this property should interven to check the activities of the staffs.
One has to carry a huge amount of cash along with them in order to pay the bills otherwise they will be directed to the ATM opposite to the hotel as the staffs are more comfortable with the cash instead of Card Payment. They will harass the customers by framing hell of excuses regarding the fault in the card machine so that finally the visitor will arrange anyhow the cash...Whereas during the check in,they will say YES ,we accept card! We like more visitors that day, suffered the same...They forced us a lot without checking their machine technically,to pay cash but due to a very heavy amount we could not find cash thru ATM and 2 long hours were wasted,my husband asked for their account number so that we can do the NET Banking...Then the staff did something in their back office with the server and said "lets try one more time ' and after that all of a sudden, the machine accepted the payment...Throughout the time the activities of the staffs was too much fishy....It's really too much disappointing to see people doing so much foul things....
Would like to tell all the future visitors to plz ensure all the details before check in and don't ever get flattered by the trip advisors rating and only by the interior /exterior of any hotel....

Though the best in Bundi but u can’t compare it with the luxury hotels at other big cities cuz it lacks in many points. The location n front view r good nd even the reception lobby is impressive. The pool view n the lawn but it’s side r good. There parties can b organised. V stayed there for two nights to attend a marriage. The rooms n bathrooms r spacious but no carpet in the rooms. So it was v cold n centrally heated. They had provided the blowers for warming up. The bed side carpet was v dirty. The electric kettle was there but the tea sachets were v basic. No green tea n different good varieties. Major thing was that the hot water supply in the bathroom was for limited time n v had to report for this then they managed it. The house keeping staff was good. U can very well try it..

It is very good hotel in terms of amenities, undoubtedly one of the best in Bundi. Only problem is it is bit far away from major tourist attraction also, view is not good as compare to other fort side hotels. Worth spending time.
