“Beautiful Nashik and a lovely family friendly host.”
Reviewed 27 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Completely taken away with the nature and only few hours drive from Mumbai you might think you have landed in South Africa with lakes, mountains and wineries. We are a family with 3 children and we felt spoiled from the first footstep in Uttara and Adwaits charming homestay. The homestay is beautiful designed and Uttara is a wonderful chef who met every wish we had. Our children enjoyed the stay so much and keep asking when can we go back.

“Perfect getaway !”
Reviewed 7 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This February, we had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful property.

The home itself is spacious, stunning and beautifully decorated with antiques. The architect must have paid careful attention to Feng shui in designing this home, because we felt a sense of calm and peace during our stay. The large bedrooms have king/twin beds and attached bathrooms with western amenities The owners were` warm and hospitable and treated us like family. We were served hot tea and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The biggest surprise was seeing several peacocks appearing periodically on the sprawling lawns of the property. The location was perfect for us, since it was in close proximity to the famous Sula winery and to other wineries such as the York. Nashik is India's premier grape growing and wine producing region.

Based on our experience, we would highly recommend this property.

Management Response
7 Mar 2016
The Tamhanes were such perfect guests. It is delightful to exchange stories with well traveled people. Our proximity to the wineries seemed to have gone down well with them. We are glad they liked the interiors of our villa & it felt nice to have our hospitality appreciated. We are happy that they participated in the lake walks and heritage walks with us. We made (new ) friends for life. We would love to have you back, dear Tamhanes. Until then, stay well my friends.
