I was travelling to Trimakeshwar, Nashik from Pune. The long journey demanded a halt before I could proceed to Trimakeshwar. I chose Grape County as it was at a convenient distance from the Temple and yet luxurious. The check-in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful.
The room was Deluxe Double room with Balcony which overlooked the lake and was comfortable in every way. You can walk-down to the lake for a dip or water-sports.
The restaurant has a mesmerizing view but unfortunately the food was average. Even though the food wasn't great this hotel offers exceptional service and is definitely worth a vist!

Had an opportunity to stay at "GLASS HOUSE" of Grape County resort last week. Glass House is their highest category room. Its a villa with a big hall, 2 bedrooms, kitchen & 3 washrooms.

Resort :- Fantastic resort with really good flora & fauna. Resort has took great efforts to be close with nature and doing their best to maintain this experience.

Rooms :- All Rooms, Villas are REALLY BIG and you will be surprised seeing the size of rooms and how they have maintained each villa. It's really a treat to stay in them and experience the ROYAL feel. SKY SUITE & GLASS HOUSE are top notch. If you have a group of old friends and want to really LIVE each moment with them, then GLASS HOUSE is a perfect option. Though expensive, but it's wonderful.
There are few rooms near reception. But most of the Villas are at different distance and away from main building (Glass House 800m away).
Tents are also bigger in size with lot of amenities. But loud musice party is arrange in night just beside the tents near swimming pool

Food :- Not tasted any food in restaurent. But completely disappointing if you order anything from your Villa. They prepare and send a person on vehicle to deliver it. They pack in aluminium foil containers and it catches moisture. We had ordered tandoor items and salads but each item lost its test in transit.
But yes...there is a caretaker at Glass House (Mr. Vaidya) who prepares excellent and yummy food if you order in advance.

Party :- They arrange a pool party (7pm onwards) with loud music. If you love to dance, it's good for you. If you love to be in nature, then you will absolutely hate it.

Overall, it's really a beautiful property and I am sure one will feel like a heaven in Rainy season. Lot of things for children as well. Great family trip or a get together of friends can be done and no one will be unhappy.....

I have visited this property twice in 2017. First one was in March 2017 and the second was in Jun 2017. Location and the property, both are good and the view from each room is good specially in monsoons. Food and service are a little weak side. I am sure they know this and are willing to improvise on it. Staff is helpful and courteous. They have small pool as well. Will recommend. Internet is a challenge.

While the owners have made an effort to create an eco resort, and they do have a lot of space, it falls way short of expectations. The resort has a main complex, with laaarge rooms, clean. 4 poster beds, huge balconies, clean restrooms. You walk through a bio-diversity park and there are tents - superbly appointed. An ideal place for a nice quiet long weekend. But.....

Its a huge but.....

Come evening, the management at the hotel just loses it. They have loud music playing either as a live band or in the banquet hall next to the rooms. So if you think you will sit on the balcony, in darkness, listening to the sounds of nature, as you would expect in a Eco Resort - just forget it. Instead be prepared for the local DJ to play music at the highest possible bass, with no chance of listening to the music of nature or getting a shut eye. This can go on till the wee hours of the morning. ANd if you think that you will get some peace at the tents - which is about 1.5km away from the main complex in the middle of the forest that these folks have so laudably created - forget that too. They have party arrangements there too. If you suffer from noise pollution, imagine what the wildlife there has to endure.

Good place for a loud raucous party which likes to take their loud music to a perfectly wonderful natural setting and destroy the atmosphere there. But definitely avoid if you want a quiet evening in the middle of nature. NOT A ECO RESORT.

Oh just one more point - the food is terrible. Breakfast is ordinary. Restaurant staff are untrained. Be prepared to eat out. And if you think at Grape County you will have wine experts - no ways - they know nothing about wine though the best vineyard in the locality supplies them wine.

Room Tip: All rooms are well appointed. But none are sound proof. Be prepared to be assaulted with noise pollution
