One of the older restaurants in Panjim. It's an old Portuguese house. Apparently about 100 years old. Has cute balconies. The food is traditional Goan food. The crab meat, Goan sausage are super. The service too is good.

This place seems to come up everytime someone mentions eating out in Panjim. Besides it's location and the restaurant itself which has a lot of tacky wall art and bad lighting, there's not much to impress at this restaurant. Seems to be very popular with many locals and tourists but the food is quite bad. It seems like their decor, menu, food plating and taste is stuck in the 90's and needs a serious upgrade. Okay for a drink or two.

It's a small place and gives a quirky look with the walls having graffiti all over, even the ceiling. The old world charming balconies seating two add to the charm of the place. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The fish is always good here especially in butter garlic or parsley sauce. Rawa fried prawns and the Goan pav with butter garlic is delicious.

It is a place locked in a time wrap and that is the USP, be it the building old style in the latin quarter, the graffiti, decor and even the food. But the food is good and portions large. Just do not go on Sundays because they are closed

We have very fond memories of eating at the Hospedaria Venite.
Our host Alex was always friendly and helpful.
Fish is a particular speciality here and I remember the tuna
and the king fish. Nice local wine Sauvignon Blanc and good beer.
We were sent here on a recommendation from our hotel.
When next we are in Goa we must eat at Hospedaria Venite.
