We visited this resort in Feb 2016 with our two small children (3 and 1 year) and had a wonderful time. The staff were very pleasant, the owners approachable and always willing to please and the atmosphere relaxing. Where the resort is situated there are some large rocks off the beach so during low tide natural pools are created by the beach for the kids to swim in. No need to worry about the big waves and rip current!! IDEAL! Would have love to have stayed longer but the bungalow was booked.

Room Tip: If you wish to stay in the bungalow, book ahead!!!

After a round trip in Ghana, this was our last 3 days to relax before going back home. Perfect place in peaceful nature. Walking on the beach, greeting fishers, sunbath under palm trees (when you're looking for a shade) very friendly service, comfortable bungalows, delicious food. Thank you for your hospitality Nol & Annelies.

Ko-sa is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing beach break. It is set in a stunning beach location, with a relatively safe swimming area. I stayed here for 3 nights with my partner and our 4 year old son. It is a great place for a family break as it is such a safe, calm environment which has been thoughtfully set up to provide plenty of space to relax and play. We had a really wonderful time.

I stayed here with my brother for three nights in Jan 16. Ko-Sa is placed just by the beach, so to get there you have to go by taxi approx. 4 km from the main road out side of Elmina. Having said that, it is worth the short extra travel! The owners, a Dutch couple are very friendly and helpful. Our room in a little cottage was clean and the beds comfortable. We had booked accommodation with shared toilet and showers which worked out very well for us. The restaurant had a delicious menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner including the hands down best coffee I had in my stay in Ghana!
In general the beaches in Ghana are not that clean, to put it mildly, but at Ko-Sa there were made attempts to remove all the plastic, which made the stay here even better.
Please note that currently there is no WiFi, but if you buy a ghanean SIM card (which I would definitely recommend anyway) there is decent 3G coverage.
All in all highly recommendable - both as a base for exploring the sights near by and for relaxing and rewinding!

We stayed in No 1 lodge, as before - it's not one of the most expensive rooms but we like the porch to sit out on. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and comfy - shower room could do with an overhaul to freshen it up though.

We love the amazing location, friendly relaxed pace of life here, hospitable Dutch owners and the food and cocktails are good, if slightly more expensive than the norm due to being more or less a captive audience - however there's nothing better than eating under the big roof with an amazing view of the palm-fringed beach and the sea breaking on the clean sandy and shell-strewn shore!

It's great to lie on the beach and watch the picturesque fishing vessels returning with their catch - a photographers dream!

It's our second visit here and we'll be back!
