The hotel lies at the 'lungomare' (= promenade) some 10 minutes away from the old center, easy to recognize because of its somehow unusual form. It used to be a villa named Denarius (which may cause some misunderstanding untill you find it out). The actual name Su means 'water' in turkish. The rooms are of two sizes, the big ones being really spacious, and the small ones offering just enough space for a double bed and the indispensable wardrobe, not even for a small table; as a matter of fact, they would rather be suitable for a one bed facility. The difference between the two is in the web presentation rather unclear which jsut doesn't contribute to the image of the house.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food tasty. It is a very special experience to enjoy the beginning of the day in the 4th floor restaurant with a magnificent view over the lake and - rare enough - easy listening, smooth jazz music in the background.
The only 'physical' deficiencies that lessen the good impressions were carpeted floor in the room (somehow difficult to understand if compared to the beautiful staircase in stone) and several doors that stuck - they cried out for a capable caretaker or maintainance worker.
Nevertheless, the hotel is a nice place to stay and worth recommending.More
