“Amazing view! Highly recommend to others”

Good:
- The owners were wonderful - brought gifts, were attentive, answered queries and responded to requests.
- They have an assistant who is equally friendly and helpful.
- The view is breathtaking!
- There are beach bars with and without music.
- There is a hotel opposite that serves good quality and reasonably priced food.
- The people are friendly.

Not so good:
- It's rather detached from shops and any kind of social activity (other than the hotel) if you don't have a car. Yes, there is a shop on the camp site, about 10 mins walk away, but what they sell is very limited. We did a shop in Trogir on the first day and got a taxi back to the apartment, which cost 100 (about £10).
- The "centre" of Seget consists of a church (not seen it open), 2 restaurants and a couple of seedy-looking bars. There isn't a single shop. It appears (from Seget and Trogir) that all commerce is on the main road).
- To walk to Trogir from the apartment takes about half an hour and you can only use the promenade as far as just past the marina, then you have to cut through the graveyard and climb over a gate with spikes onto the main road- . Either that, or don't use the promenade at all and walk all the way on the main road).
- There is a dual carriageway behind/above the apartment and a very busy road one street below the apartment, so not as quiet as we would have hoped (the back road is only really noticeable early mornings with commuter traffic).
- There aren't any pavements on the main road near the apartment, so you have to take great care, especially at night.
- The only satellite channel available in English was BBC World News (despite attempts by the owner and by his assistant to find other channels). However, we did find some English language programmes and films on Croatian TV in the evenings (we had some wet weather and were ill some of the time, so that was welcome).
There were only single top sheets and blankets for the double bed, which was very awkward if you are a couple who likes physical contact.
There was a building site 3 blocks away which woke us up with mechanical digging early each morning and there were sirens before and after the explosives several times a day. However, I'm assured by the owners that this work will finish in June'16.

TIPS:
There are few sunbeds with sunshades, so we asked a beach bar we frequented if they would reserve us one each day, and they did (at no cost, but that was late Sept so business was a bit slow).
You are charged in shops for the bottles the beer comes in, but you can return them if you have the receipt and get a refund.

I would like to stress that the good outweighs the bad, so would highly recommend.

“Lovely Apartment”
Reviewed 28 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely apartment in Seget. It is really spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean with amazing views from the balcony. There is a swing seat from which you can watch the taxi boats sail in and out. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable and there was always hot water. The apartment is well placed on a quiet street, within walking distance of the village and close to the place where the water taxis stop to take you to Trogir. There are some nice restaurants in Seget, our favourite being Segetski Dvori . Trogir is beautiful - nice to eat out in the little side streets - full of atmosphere.
Ivan, the owner of the apartment was really helpful throughout the booking process and during our holiday. I would definitely recommend a holiday here and we will return at some point in the future.

“Seget Donji - a place everyone can enjoy”
Reviewed 12 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The apartment was clean, spacious, well maintained and the views were spectacular. The apartment was close to the beach but we also hired a car and travelled around the area which was amazing to see. The owners had left a good deal of information about the area which was very helpful. We would definitely return.
