Located an easy 15 minute walk NE of the old town and a five minute taxi ride (70 kuna). A large family house on the edge of town with a very friendly and helpful young Croatian host. He has a smart and modern house with a pool and garden area. Large rooms with large bath en-suite and aircon. Fridge in room and access to free wi-fi throughout the house. Free room safe in every room. Host very helpful and recommended local restaurants and things to do. He also owns some family vineyards with an excellent white wine and he also makes his own honey grappa and olive oil. We were offered the honey grappa on arrival and on departure bought more wine to take away, honey grappa plus a gift of a bottle of his excellent Istrian olive oil. We concur with the recent reviews and thoroughly recommend this location as an option if you want to stay slightly out of town.

Room Tip: Room over pool or towards town with balcony

My husband and I along with my parents stayed at Casa Alice, and were blown away by the incredible rooms, amenities, and service. They went above and beyond in every way to make our stay special and memorable, and we left both relaxed and refreshed; we would recommend the Casa Alice to anyone.

The rooms were extremely high end and the bathroom even included an extra large spa tub with jets and luxurious finishes. Breakfast is included, offering a full spread of everything that you could want. We were offered complimentary drinks throughout our stay, and had a wonderful bottle of wine waiting in our room. They even allowed us to store some items that we had purchased at the hotel after we had checked out, while we went to town to explore.

I have never found better service or nicer rooms at a better value, and we hope to have an opportunity to stay again. Excellent experience all around!

We booked on Booking.com and did not know it was on Trip Advisor. We found it difficult to find but we should have downloaded the map - so our fault!. The owner came out to meet us and took us back. You are still greeted with a free drink. The rooms are decorated to a very high quality and we had a bottle of wine put in the fridge for us. The breakfast was superb and everything was to the very highest standard and the owner is still improving. There is plenty of free parking and as it is only a short walk to town this is very useful as you have to pay to park everywhere unlike when we went there about 4 years ago. Each guest leaves with a small gift - a very nice touch.

Room Tip: We found the top floor to be the best

Casa Alice is an absolute gem!. From the moment we walked in the door, Christian, the owner, made us feel welcome and comfortable. He greeted us with refreshments and a bottle of wine awaited us in our room. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a traditionally modern decor. The bathrooms contained luxurious high end fixtures including a large whirlpool tub. Everything is spotless and upscale. The Rovinj harbor is approximately a 10 minute walk. Casa Alice is definately a five-star hotel for a three star price. EXCELLENT VALUE.

Room Tip: Wonderful room and service-10min walk to Rovinj
