The Hotel has a good location close to the park entrance and is therefore a great choice to stay at.
Rooms are outlived, which would not be a big of a concern as you are exploring the countryside, however the cleaning standards are definitely not up to a international 5star hotel and rather off-putting.
Reception is rather unfriendly and with limited services, you can't even exchange foreign currency. Our request for non-smoking was rudely declined stating it is 5pm and other guests have already checked in, completely ignoring that we arrived at 8am and completed our check in and documentation so we may go straight to the room after our return.
Restaurant was definitely set for domestic guests, with majority of chinese food selection, which was alright as you still have bread and american breakfast option. The waiters seemed overwhelmed with their tasks with the Managers leading the run around - entertaining to watch.
On a good note the SPA and Tibetan food massage great after a long days hike in the Park.
I would definitely return to the area as the countryside is amazing and worth a trip, at the same time I do hope for another International brand to open their doors.More
