This is a typical, huge, seemingly government run hotel. The location is very good, a short walk/hike to some of the primary vista sites, but the hotel is not well-kept and the staff seem bored with an "it's my job" attitude. We were first assigned a room at the very back of the hotel, up a flight of stairs (after the elevator) at the end of the hall near the laundry room, with a view of a wall. There was mold in the bathtub, and no WiFi. Check-in took at least 40 minutes because they could not find our reservation. We finally were moved after calling our travel agent to a much better room with intermittent WiFi, less mold, and a much better location. The breakfast was included and was typical Chinese hotel food, and lunch and dinner expensive (everything has to be carried up the mountain on porter's backs) but you could either get the buffet or order off the menu. Checkout was easy; just drop off the key. Considering this was at the top of a mountain, the hotel was OK, but the front desk staff needs to learn to smile, and having at least one English-speaker at the desk, considering the number of foreigners there, would have been helpful. The scenery was amazing, but the hotel rates an definite "Adequate" rating.
