Very nice hotel and friendly staff with great food in resurant. Great location to the beach right across the street and many places in walking distance to shop and eat. Highly recommend this hotel as great value pricing for the location.

My second stay was excellent at the Mercure Santos Hotel, close to the beach with excellent rooms and with great breakfast / lunch / dinner.
In addition, the hotel staff is very helpful in assisting us in various situations.

I booked this hotel for a business trip and got really sick when I arrived there. The hotel restaurant offers a great variety of soups for dinner and it helped me to feel better! The room I stayed had very comfortable beds and it was all very clean. It was a suite with two rooms, and amenities that provided my co-worker to keep working when I was trying to recover the cold.
The only BIG problem we had: We asked the front desk (Nathalia) if we could have breakfast like 15 minutes before the normal time for that day as we had a meeting very early next morning. She promptly called us saying that it was all set for the next day. It wasn´t! We were there and the restaurant was still closed and nobody knew what I was talking about. Apparently, the person who worked the night before at the restaurant, forgot to leave a message for the next morning workers. Too bad!
Even though I would be there again! Just a little thing to get fixed: Communication!

The hotel is at the beach, with a wonderful view: all of the rooms have a balcony.
The staff is very friendly. The rooms are so spacious (about 500 SqFt), with a bedroom and a living room with sofa and table. The breakfas (included in price) is gorgeous.
And, best of all, it is so near of the main central area of Santos.

Room tip: Ask for a high floor room to enjoy a better view.
