Clube dos 500 was created back in the 1950s to serve as a meeting point for the elites of Rio (then the capital of Brazil) and Sao Paulo. It was an ambitious project, including gardens by Burle Marx, buildings by Niemeyer and a wall painting by Di Cavalcanti. After many changes of control, it is now undergoing a renaissance. Renovated bedrooms, great breakfast, good dining, entertainment options make it a perfect stop if you're driving on Via Dutra. Great swimming pools, other facilities. Do take the time to walk or bicycle around the property and adjoining development if you can.

Very conveniently located, just 2h and a bit from São Paulo, the hotel has a lot of green: lakes, forest, plantations and it is the ideal place to enjoy a weekend escape. Employees are very polite and helpful and the food is good - restaurant could be better in terms of service, it is true! We will definetely come back. PS: The panel from Di Cavalcanti is really beautiful.

Room tip: Standart room is small, but confortable. Enough for a couple and a crib.

If your are travelling from Sao Paulo - Rio - Sao Paulo, this is the place to stay. It is in the middle betwenn the two cities. Good accomodations and service. If you like golfing you will love this pleace. It looks like a country type of hotel with a lot of trees and natural athmosfere. There is no other hotel like that in the area.

This resort is a secluded, quiet little heaven! All the amenities you might wish for are there: swimming pool, spa, gym, bocce court, running track, tennis, tropical gardens, orchard and a beautiful golf course.
The rooms are confortable. Not extraordinary, but extremely clean.
Area for improvement: the menus for the different restaurants should be more contemporary, fresh and light.

This hotel is located off the highway away from the center of Guaratingueta. Very quiet and pleasant but not ideal for business as Internet in room is not functioning and there is only limited wireless throughout the facility. Staff far outnumbers the guests. Primary issue - the staff for the most part only speak Portuguese. Rooms are clean but some are very outdated. Pool, gym, spa etc are open during day and do not accommodate work schedules. O
