Excellent choice for our wedding anniversary. Breathtaking surroundings, squeaky clean and cozy rooms, great breakfast buffet even on weekdays when there are less guests. Many historic features of the original property have been preserved, such as hand-painted tiles by a renowned Portuguese artist, a lovely gazebo by a scenic waterfall and the fountain by the breakfast tables. The staff is extremely kind, helpful and caring. There's a brand new heated pool, pefect after a day hiking in the nearby National Park. Amenities and hotel facilities are perfect not only for couples but also for kids and elderly people. The best restaurants in town are just a 5mn drive away, near enough to walk if you feel like it.

Very impressed with how squeaky clean the rooms were, way beyond your usual Hilton or Marriott… we stayed here as a family of four visiting the region, kids ages 9 and 11 delighted with the hotels attractions and amenities. Great breakfast and the lack of other meals in the hotel are well supplanted by nearby options.

Unfortunatelly we had a terrible experience. The hotel is old and Dirty. There is no restaurant service at the swimming pool. In a sunny day you cannot order beverages or snacks even tough they have a restaurant. The employees are kind but all places at the hotel were old and dirty. I pre-reserved the gym place which was dirty with big ants and cockroaches. We had to upgrade our room from 2 persons to 2 persons and 1 child. So we added a child and we were charged for more than the cost of another adult. Room for 2 adults was 800 and room for 2 adults and one kid costed 1400 reais. The air conditioner had a bad smell, there were no batteries at the TV remote control and the fridge was off. Location although was ok. I don´t recommend and we won´t come back..
