Burle Marx was such an interesting character and complete artist - it was a delight to hear about his ideas and interests - all that made the experience one of the richest I had in Rio. Besides, the Sitio is just breathtaking beautiful.
The tour takes about 1h30 and it has to be scheduled upfront by phone or email. The entrance fee costs BRL 10,00.

Very beautiful preserved garden with interesting heritage. Charming guide Marie Anne was a big plus and obviously loves her job.
Only two guided tours a day. Must book ahead. Entrance fee very cheap.

Very pleasant walk around the gardens, and buildings. Everything is exuberant, the size of the vegetation, and how healthy it looks is just amazing!!! This visit is something every one should do!

The place is beautiful! Out guide was excellent! What a Renaissance man he was. It has motivated and inspired me to be so much more creative in my own life. The tours are scheduled, and a guide is required, so check the times and plan the day.

It's a wonderful place to visit, with spectacular work and an amazing space. It's far form the city but you can still get there using public transportation and it's totally worth it. Make sure to book it first or you might get there and find the gates closed.
