Can't give enough positive feed back about this hotel! WIFI was good breakfast had plenty of options and our stay was very good value for our money. We had an amazing view from the hotel, stunning pool and the staff were top class, Amanda in particular was super friendly and really helped make our stay special. We were booked for only two nights originally but taking all the above into consideration after our first night we decided to book a third nights stay! One bit of constructive criticism I would give would be to higher some one to work the bar/cocktails, but still didn't really take away from our overall experience. Would love to stay again next time we visit.

We booked the Pelicano Pousada after reading the reviews here and on booking.com. I have never been more disappointed with the service regarding the error in the booking.

We travelled there as a family of 4; 2 adults, a 6 year old and a child under 5. Due to an error, we were charged for 5 adults + 1 child; whereas we should have only be charged for 2 adults + 30% for our six year old. Our 2 year old is free. We stayed there 4 nights. The first night the person there couldn't understand English, so he said when they had an English-speaking receptionist come in, they would be able to help. This carried on for two nights; where there was a back and forth between trying to understand what was happening. We then spoke to Amanda, who understood perfectly, admitted that we were being over-charged. Also, we had a basic room, with no balcony. She spoke to her boss and said they couldn't help us!

There are other beautiful places to stay in Buzios, with people who are certainly more welcoming and honest. Also, even though this is 5 minutes away from the centro, all the beaches close by aren't that beautiful or quiet. We'd recommend a stay at Chez Pitou, which is opens on to a beautiful beach and the customer service is amazing.

While were were there, every morning during the check-out time, there was a customer arguing about the room rate.

We went here for our last stop in brasil before returning to Munich. The staff was super helpful as Amanda, Douglas and Frederico speak decent english and their rocommendations were spot on and the hotel close to the centre, 5 min walk. The room was the cleanest we have seen in brazil... So we would definitely come here again. The chill out music made our day and the breakfast had a good selection of fruit and croisants. Highly recommended is the caipi by one of the staff at p.m. We miss that place!
