Where to begin? We paid £79 for this hell hole as we struggled to find a hotel in Hamamatsu that had parking and didn't break our budget. We parked in the carpark which was half full and were told it was full and had to park elsewhere, they did cover the charge but it was an inconvenience and made no sense.

The whole place stinks of cigarettes and has a very dirty dated feel. There is a sign in the lift specifying no hookers which says a lot about the usual clientele bearing in mind this is not a love hotel. The room was tiny even by usual Japanese standards, again it stunk of cigarettes. I like a firm bed but we ended up with 2 singles, one was soft and spongy and the other was like sleeping on a rock. There were various stains on the wall. The shower is practically unusable because of its size. There was a huge step up into the bathroom which we both tripped over several times. Neither of us slept well and we were desperate to check out as early as possible in the morning.

There were a couple of pros, firstly they give you a free drink (inc alcohol) which helps numb you in preparation for returning to your hideous little room. Secondly, the location is good for a night out in town. Thirdly the free wifi works well. Finally, the breakfast was really very good, a wide variety of hot and cold choices!

Had this hotel have been half the price then I would have given it a 2 - poor, but for the price I'm sorry to say it can only be described as terrible.

This hotel became my favorite hotel, after the first my accomodation.
Particulaly the lodging fee was very cheep, but the services was not cheep, not bad.In fact I felt well, the staffs worked well, had a good sense. However they were busy, they didnt forget their smiles in front of their guests and were smart.
Im sorry you might want not to expect your room's size.
I was impressed with the information sheet with guide and map around the hotel.A breakfast buffe also was great,so many kinds of healthy foods.
Generally speaking this hotel is excellent,so when I ll visit on November,Ill book it again.

It was in a strategic location surrounded with restaurants and places of attractions are not too far off too. Breakfast was great with various types of food being served. Staff was helpful though there was a communication issue because of language barrier.
