Stayed for a weekend to see the blossoms. The hotel is about a 2 1/2 mile walk from the basin, but very convenient for Georgetown and M Street area. The hotel is older and could do with updating, but the staff are friendly and that can make a difference to your stay. Housekeeping were thorough and timely and the room was comfortable if a bit falling apart at the edges! Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time here and would probably book it again.

Room tip: Get a room away from lifts and ice machines.

The Hotel might be a little outdated, but what can you say this is Marriott’s first Hotel ever. It certainly has been updated since it opened back when.The location is perfect, walking distance to Georgetown, but best of all is the the staff. I have stayed in many Hotels including this one many times, but the staff of his Hotel is unmatched. Whoever manages this hotel knows what she or he is doing. From the doorman, to the receptionist, the bar and restaurant staff it’s incredible how attentive, professional and friendly these guys are. Congratulations Key Bridge Marriott your service is awesome!

I stayed here with my family for several nights in March 2018. The good: on site parking, comfortable beds, hot water, and an amazing view of the Potomac right from our 11th floor room, close to the Rosslyn metro station, fridge in room. Our housekeeping service was above average. Thanks, cleaning crew.

The not so good: the pool was out of order, bathroom could have been nicer (tub didn't drain as fast as shower filled it), and the "smart TV" kept malfunctioning.

Marriott is at a crossroads, much like Holiday Inn's of the past. Great go-to hotels in the '80's and '90's when these great hotels were built.

But first let's talk about the Key Bridge Marriott. The front desk service, bar/restaurant service was very good. Polite, respectful and attentive service. This is what you would expect from a Marriott. The hotel was clean and well kept. As a Gold Elite member, I was expecting some sort of room upgrade, but only received a standard room with two double beds. As a single travel, I wanted to get a king size bed... in the same sized room, but they moved me to a king room, but much smaller square footage. I did receive access to the concierge lounge access. The service was very nice, but the area was very small.

The hotel has been updated. The lobby, restaurant and bar area have been done very nice. The rooms being small to begin with, they did the best they could in updating with what they had. Paying in the mid $300's for a night, in DC is standard fare, but you would expect the rooms to be a little nicer.

All that being said, when does a Marriott sell their aging properties to other lower end hotels, and build new?? In DC where land is scarce, that is not an easy question. But I would hope that Marriott would really look hard at there hotels built in the '80's and '90's and not put band aids on these hotels, but build new to the standards that we expect from Marriott.

The Key Bridge is in a wonderful location, adjacent to the Potomac and the Key Bridge. Nice short walk across the Key Bridge to Georgetown and to the Rosslyn.

I stayed at this property over 10 years ago and at the time I remember thinking it was a very good experience. Things have changed over the years. The building is showing its age in spots. The room is still clean and for the most part comfortable. The shower head is really low and the tub did not drain well (3inches of water by the end of my shower). The TV cable box was not working and I found that the power cable behind the TV had been pulled out.

There used to be a really nice restaurant with good steaks on the top floor, overlooking the Potomac River, but this is apparently long gone. However, the service and food in the bar/restaurant on the lobby level is pretty good.

It is about a 10 min walk to the closest Metro station, Rosslyn.
