It was amazing to see the eternal flame where the Kennedys are buried. I loved paying my respects to the Kennedys.

This is a beautiful and serene spot at Arlington National Cemetery. A tour guide can give additional information about the rules of who gets buried in Arlington (like spouses and children). It was helpful.

Part of the Inaugural Address is inscribed into the stonework. Considering today's political climate it's a sobering reminder of the dignity of past presidents.

All of Arlington cemetery is moving but this location simply may have the best location between Lee's Arlington House and the Lincoln Memorial. Very fitting for a President who served 100 years after the Civil War and who to resolve outstanding issues from that event.

If you are in the area then it’s worth a visit. JFK most certainly earns his place in history and therefore a trip here is understandable. The best thing for me was the glorious view of the city as you looked back from the grave. Beautiful especially being framed by the cherry blossom trees. Not too onerous a walk from the visitors center. Take it slow and most people should manage fine.
