It would be nice if those that spray would take their cans with them. It is what it is. Unless you are spraying I think 20 mins is enough. If you are spraying? Dispose of your can.

Graffiti Park was recommended by a tour guide, but I'm not sure that it's that impressive. In fact, I think it's an eyesore, and from all reports, the city is having it removed (a good idea). If you're in Austin, I'd give this a miss.

Definitely worth the photo opps! The ground as you walk up the hill is worn slick-hard and there are of course broken bottles etc around, so be careful.

A very unique attraction for those that love to see some incredible talented artists or would like to try it themselves. This ever changing canvas is a unique part of Austin and like most of this once very very eclectic city the new is taking over the quirkiness of the city. Approval has been given to a new condo development in this space, which was originally a planned condo development several years back. Now there is talk that the development will keep some walls intact, but it won't be the same as the massive urban art display it is now.

I took my son to Austin for his 17th birthday and Graffiti Park was a perfect place for a teen. Take your own paint cans otherwise pay a $5 “donation” to the vendors. Good walking shoes: this is NOT a pathed or paved area. It has a pretty good incline & no safety rails (or similar). I wouldn’t recommend for small children
