Nice place to visit this course built in 1948. It is in some need of repair but they were installing new carpet on 18 holes today. Not as elaborate as some of the courses you would see at the Carolina beaches but very enjoyable

We wanted to spend some time in the nice weather doing something as a family without spending a lot of $. Our 10 year old through 20 year olds had a great time. We were keeping score and winner got to have bragging rights. OK so Dad won....he's always got game. We were happy with all the shade and cool breeze on this warm spring day. (we are from CO, so we like it cool) We got concerned with the facility when several of the courses lacked carpet. The game is meant to be played on a smooth surface...so the condition of * a few* holes were hindering our enthusiasm. Once we finished the "Hard" Course(rough condition) we went to the "Easy" Course (nicer condition) and found that this course was much nicer. We even saw fresh paint. The easy course, which is higher of the slope is the one you want to do until the whole place is improved with new carpet and some touch ups. After our games, we read the history of the place and found out that the owner had died of a heart attack while in COLORADO and was very loved and missed by his Austin community. I hope the place can survive many more years by a good manager! It is a gem of old school charm in the midst of overwhelming "new improved plastic" and higher prices that nickel and dime you to death at every turn. "Long Live Peter Pan!!"

A monument to the the early days of putt-putt. Really bad... grass carpet on only half the holes, and it was needing replacement. Empty beer cans all over the place. Leaves, branches, mud... apparently they don't bother to clean the course, maybe that's the challenge when you play. Halg our group walked away after four holes. Just bad.

However, the place was PACKED! We were shocked. Is there really nothing better to do in Austin for kids... or adults?

We were looking for a brainless way to be sociable but not sit around and eat and drink. Putt putt golf - right? We are at Peter Pan’s, a very nice layout with nice obstacles, levels and curves. Very enjoyable. But I wish they would spend just a little money updating and repairing what they have. Great concept, good track, needs some TLC.

Great trans-generational fun. Lots of vintage features (unfortunately including some of the carpet, which could use patching in spots). There are two two 18-hole courses, easy and difficult. We played the easy one, which was difficult enough for me. Miniature golf is more expensive than I recalled ($7 per head), but it's worth it.
