Authentic Mexican food, We had taco plates, price was 8.99 a plate, tea and cola was 1.99. We had several different choices of meats in our tacos we chose el pastor, which is a type of beef, it was very good and flavorful, salsa and chips was also included with our meal as well as rice and beans. We also ordered sopapillas which was served on a plate with ice cream and chocolate and cream, honey on side. Mmmm. We will definitely go back, our total price was $28 for two, not counting the tip we really enjoyed it and the waitress was very nice very cordial and service was semi fast. The salsa that came with our chips was hot but we liked it, the salsa that came with our plates was even hotter. This is real Mexican food, not Tex-mex. The building is small and older but it's very clean. I always look at the bathrooms at places, if the bathroom is clean it's a very good sign the kitchen is also. The bathroom was clean, and although it's an older building they put deco even in the bathroom. You should try this place out, we were pleasantly surprised maybe you will be to.

This is a solid blue collar mexican restaurant located across the interstate from the Walmart store off Grand Avenue. The food was freshly prepared, the salsa had great flavor, and there was a nice variety on the menu. This is not a fancy place nor is the food fancy. It is just good flavored Tex-Mex and consistently good!

I doubt we'll return here. The chili rellenos were very average... decent flavor but soggy/oily. The chips weren't warm or very fresh tasting. But, the pork asada and corn tortillas were excellent. The beef tacos were pretty good, too. We were disappointed that there were no margaritas or beer available. We had seen a bar in a picture on their website, so assumed they served alcohol... but they don't (at least not at this location).

The Salsa is tasteless and too hot. The food was boring. No flavor. The service was good. Wouldn't stop there again.
