My wife and I had a large pizza with pepperoni and mushroom sausage and green peppers. The pizza was delicious fresh mushrooms nice sweet savory sauce and truly real mozzarella. It's a nice little location just outside of North Park we sat outside under the umbrellas it was a beautiful day I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a good meal at a good price.

Thank Al B

All food seems to be made to order. And delicious. Wife and I always get the salad with chicken pita bread and delicious dressing. Had to beat, but a little pricey. This is a privately owned business run by Rico. This is a BYOB place. It is a little pricey for what you get, but certainly competitive. Love the patio with fresh plants all around. It is adjacent to North Park and no doubt it's business has been hurt by the OTB Bicycle Cafe. But, there really is no comparison. What a good view of the lake go to OTB. What good food go to Rico's Tomato Pie. Biggest disadvantage is that they do not accept credit cards, but they do have an ATM inside. But do sit outside if possible and avoid the lunch hour. SErvice can be slow.

The pizza is amazing and salads are always very creative. The pink leek sauce is must and remember it's BYOB.

Al fresco in the park, great food at a very reasonable price and don't forget to say hello to Rico in the kitchen.

We have been enjoying Tomato Pie for almost 20 years and it's always amazing!!!!

The other reviews citing great food are instructive and on point. The menu is quite small, the portions quite adequate and prices quite reasonable. That it's BYOB helps make it an excellent value. Only THE house salad dressing is available, and is a good complement to the fresh garden lettuces on which it goes. The place isn't a bit fancy but dining outside in the warm months is quite pleasant.
It's major drawback is that it's seasonal, opening each Spring and closing about mid-November unless the weather is prohibitive.

Great outdoor restaurant in North Park. BYOB. Fresh great meals! Best bruschetta I've ever had! Friendly, hard working college kids working all summer.
