“Authentic villa so conveniently located”
Reviewed 22 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We have just enjoyed a terrific five days in the Mars Villa Bodrum. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable yet still retained the feel of a traditional Turkish villa. This was a lovely contrast to the modern resorts where we had been previously staying, which all felt the same. The highlight was the top level terrace where we could have an evening drink and watch the sunset and the lights go on over the city and the castle. Our hostess, Ayse, was very warm and welcoming, giving us lots of good information about the places to go around Bodrum. On our departure, Ayse's mother cooked us a special farewell breakfast, which was a lovely way to farewell Bodrum and completed our excellent experience.

Great location within walking distance to Bodrum city centre. This is a lovely place to stay if you want to be near everything but in a quiet, calm location. They have a variety of different lodgings. My place is cosy and charming and I enjoy sitting out in the garden.

We had some wonderfull days in Bodrum. The owners were very firendly und child-friendly. The rooms were very spacious and nice. And last but not least the view from the roof terrace over the marina towards Bodrum Castle was amazing.

“Wonderful House and People”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Hospitality and kindness of Ayse put us at ease for the entire period.
The house was very spacious, clean and equipped with every confort (wi-fi included). Close to the center of Bodrum has allowed us both to park after our day trips and also to leave the car for a leisurely stroll through the beautiful streets of downtown.

Many Many thanks

“A peaceful week in Mars Villas”
Reviewed 6 October 2013 for a stay in August 2013

I spent last week of Aug'13 at Mars Villas with my younger brother and sister and a friend. First of all, it is not a luxurious experience. The villa is decorated basicly on 3 floors. It has a spacious teras on top floor. It has a WC on the 1st floor and a WC+bathroom on the 2nd floor. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the marina and about 7 minutes to walk to the central bus station. There is a shortcut way to minibus stop, if you do not mind getting into the minibus on from the central station. There is a washing machine for your clothes as well.
What turns this accomodation into a unique memory is certainly Aunt Aliye, the 84-year old owner of the place. She put such a sincere effort to make us happy with our stay. Anything you need is not a problem, she does her best like your real aunt. She is very eager to hear your feedback on the points you think should be improved. I wish we had more time to spend with her, more time to have sweet conversations, take the dogs to walk... It became really hard to leave such a nice person. I am sure we will stay connected.

If you are planning to stay at the center of Bodrum and go different villages each day, and if you prefer an apart-villa for this stay, I recommend Mars Villas. I heard that they will renew the villas this winter.
