Armed with the positive dining experience we had last week with Hainanese Chicken Delights in Robinsons Palawan, I requested my husband to take our early dinner just last Friday, May 16 at the same Hainanese Chicken Delights this time in Robinson's Galleria. Said branch is very accessible from the mall's food court and the supermarket, customer will not have any difficulty in locating the branch.

I was so amazed with the foot traffic and the customers' que! This made me think that the branch's food and service must have been that good that's why people do not mind falling in line just to have a taste of their offer. Until later that I was proven wrong. We chose to be seated outside because there was no airconditioning in the dining area inside; or the air conditioning unit that time was defective. Imagine the agony of customers eating and sweating at the same time! The management should have looked upon this concern if they want new customers like us to go back to the branch. While the dining area outside was a mess with the marble floor badly begging to be scrubbed or mopped! Again, the management should have employed an additional crew whose job is to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area. In addition, most tables were occupied not by customers but with dirty utensils and left over food of previous customers who dined out. A crew should have attended to this. While waiting for the order took eternity, there must be a problem with the time management, quality control and production control of this branch as a whole! I already advised two roving crews regarding my order status and follow-ups to no avail, they just keep on saying yes but did not return to our table to update us! They should not have been placed in the dining area if they cannot assist and follow up orders for their waiting customers! We even requested for the tray of condiments to be put on our table because nobody assisted us! A senior crew apologized and reasoned that we were served by crew who were newbies/trainees! If this was the case, then there must have been a problem with Hainanese Chicken Delight's Sales and Training procudures! Same food chain, different customer service/orienation! We learned our lesson, this will be the last for this branch! We will never go back!

As for the food, tasteless as we were hungry and angry!

We tried Hainanese delights in Robinsons Otis last January 2013 the service is good. Rice is there right away. The food are also there.
But We ate again there Same branch. This time the service is very poor. I think they doesn't have enough staff. And also this time the chicken is not well done. I hope next time I decided to eat there it would be better.

It's not only affordable but yummy as well. The place is clean, the plates and eating utensils are simple. The menu is not confusing as they do not have a lot of choices (which is good sometimes specially if you're already hungry). They serve specialty drinks as well.
The staff are friendly and know their menu well. The serving size is just okay, not too small, not too big and were presented well.

Had a business lunch since this was off the entrance to the Robinson's supermarket and easy to meet given the location near the EDSA Node parking lot.

Food was ok, complementary soup a bit on the salty side, common flavor here, and maybe a bit too much MSG (healthy?) or that's what I tasted anyways. Free so what the heck...

The Hainanese Chicken meal was fried chicken but was more like a roasted chicken. All in all it was ok and the price, P130/meal, was ok for the quantity. Unlimited java type rice was ok too.

Service was great giving them credit for that aspect.

Food court setting so most tables out in the common use area across from the supermarket but some tables inside.

Sodas served warm but ice in a glass offered. Usually something of a consideration for foreigners that avoid ice and require being served an ice cold beverage.

The Singapore Staple was enjoyed by another member of our party and he thoroughly enjoyed the ample amount of food. Big bowl of noodles and a plate of chicken too.

Restrooms are a ways away... so get your bearings for the return trip.

Probably won't go back given the other options.

I tried this place for the first time at SM North branch. My friend and I ordered their best seller which were Hainanese chicken, fried hainanese chicken, turf and surf dumpling and blueberry sparkling. All of the food were delicious. The hainanese chicken meals were both unlimited rice. I have no comment with any of them. The sparkling taste a bit of medicine-like but then it wasn't a big deal. The service was fast and the staffs were nice too. Our order cost around 460 pesos. Not bad at all. I went home with a happy tummy.
