We just stayed overnight at the Pan Pacific between two flights (total of 12 hours from landing to takeoff). The room we got was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a large variety of food to feed any taste. Overall we felt we got very good value for our money for the short time we were there.

The pan Pacific was our last stop on our holiday through the phillipines and we spend 1 enjoyable and incredibly comfortable night there. The rooms were smart, modern and clean. There were lots of restaurant options in the hotel (which we didn't try) but there are lots of eateries just outside the hotel heading towards remedios circle area which offer better value.
The hotel benefited from a pool area which was fairly small but it was never busy when we stayed. The drink here is incredibly expensive and hard to justify, a SML beer will set you back 250 peso's from the mini bar or pool or you can go to a bar just down the road and pay 35-70 depending on the establishment.
The staff at the hotel were incredibly professional (all British butler trained) but we must single out 1 lady in particular, Marielle M Adarayan whom helped us in our goal to reach the Taal volcano through public transport. With the aid of her directions we were able to visit the volcano and get safely back to the hotel (9hour round trip but worth it) and she even sought us out the following day to check that everything was ok with our trip.
The area around the hotel is not the greatest, it's busy, dirty and a bit seedy but it felt safe.
Manila is not Bangkok, there is no central street for restaurants and bars, everything here is dotted about so you have to explore but in a way thats part of the charm- it's a mini adventure!
If you have to stay in Manila you can't go wrong with the pan pacific

We were here for our Officers Conference. The hotel service upon reception was organized, since officers were coming from all over the country.

The security is good (a card is needed to board the elevator to go through the rooms).

The room smacks of high-priced hotels in Makati. I had 3 very comfortable pillows and an extra small pillow for my feet!!!! How grand is that...

A spacious bathroom with a bath tub and complete set of toiletries, replenished everyday. Complimentary water is also replenished everyday, unlike other hotels where they give you only for the first day. There were also complimentary apples...

The breakfast has a wide variety of choices. Yummy too.

All of this, we paid only for Php 4,500 for twin-sharing.. Ours might have been a corporate account, I can't believe we paid that much with the same amenities as the ones in Makati.

TIP: The hotel is surrounded by a lot of local & international cuisines, finding something that suites your palate.

Lastly, I would like to thank JEFF of the Butler Service Reception, for making our check-in until check-out smoothly. Taking care of a large group of delegation coming across the nation is such a big feat.

We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms spacious, luxurious and clean. The staff was always the nicest and try to assist with any of our travel matters. The breakfast buffet is brilliant as well as the outside pool and jacuzzi. Worth every penny.
