This place is usually full during peak hours, so when our family dropped by for an early dinner one Saturday, there were several vacant tables.
Great xiao long bao, best eaten when still hot. Along with that said specialty we ordered Taiwanese fried pork chop (which for me was a big serving), 3-cup chicken, which was like chicken adobo, only better, and crispy noodles. All were delicious offerings.
Big regret was the mango dessert with a ton of shaved ice. We felt robbed of our money with this, since bits of mango were merely stuck on the sides of the ice tower. Even the syrup wasn't enough to augment the mango flavor. Unless you enjoy scooping shaved ice into your mouth do steer clear of this dessert.
Overall it was a great dining experience, and I could see our family dining here again soon.

Good chinese food although a bit pricey compared to other restaurants but the price is reasonable. Will consider going back. Nice looking and tasting desserts too.

of course must try to xiao long bao, they have several varieties but we always ordered the traditional pork.
I quite liked the pineapple with shrimp in chinese donut dish, it's one of their signature items, spicy wonton in chili, Taiwanese beef noodle soup - tasty not too salty broth and nice amounts of sliced beef, roast duck. They have some interesting desserts but was too full to try them.
Just be prepared for small portions if you are heft eaters. It is on the expensive side but worth it since they nailed every dish we ordered. Also busy lunch hour so be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes, best to go during slow times. We went to the Greenhills branch. Ample parking ground floor and upstairs as well.

The chicken with scallion remains a favorite. Their salted fish fried rice is a must. And don't forget their ice shave. Yunmy.

We visited Lugang Cafe branch in Robinsons Place Manila we were lucky enough to find it not sooo busy and crowded and finally we were able to try their food I believe it was newly opened branch so the place was well decorated and has a fine dining feel. They have a wide variety of food and drinks selections on the menu, and I thought we ordered so much of food for 4 people! Their food is so delicious i must say not short of any ingredient, served freshly cooked, serving portions could also be enough for 2-3 persons. Reasonably priced; I guess 2 person could have fried rice and a dish for 500-700php without drinks (they give service water any way)
Service can still be improved because we dined at about 3-4pm and very few tables were occupied for snacks yet waiters were slow or should I say not so paying attention to few customers inside. Overall it's a very good restaurant and a must try!
