I stayed in Sala hotel for a night after a resort vacation.
Rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. The only problem with the room is that it doesn't have a window (not even the bathroom has one). The hotel is close to a mosque so might hear the call for prayers very early in the morning and throughout the day. I had the air-conditioning off so I could hear other noises as well from the street especially when the bathroom door was not properly shut, but it helps if you shut it (I'm a light sleeper).
The hotel is small with only 6 rooms but with a nice character and a home-feel to it. The breakfast is excellent, you get a choice of eggs, jams and spreads, yoghurt, susages, cheese and cold cuts. The coffee is nespresso coffee not filter coffee. I tried the Thai restaurant for dinner and it has very authentic Thai food. The only tip for the Thai restaurant is that you should take the spicy notice of the food quite seriously. I do generally like spicy food but i was still a tad too spicy for me, though I did enjoy it next time I would certainly order it with less spice.More
