The owner Kelvin is very helpful and generally attended to most of our upfront requirements - we were a group of 9 (between 2 families). The townhouse is located on a street with its own security guard on a cul-de-sac. There were 3 bedrooms upstairs all with western style toilets and 2 bedrooms downstairs with local Malay style toilets (which remained unused).
The house itself has seen better days and the furnishings are a bit run down. No cooking is allowed, although Kelvin did provide us with a small stove and a pan to make brekky. There was a toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. The facility was generally clean although the bedroom furniture was pretty average. There is also no washing machine or ironing available in the house. Cleaning service was every 3 days during our week long stay.
The house is located within a 5 minute walk from Leisure Mall, which contains a supermarket, Delifrance, Rotiboy, Breadhouse, Starbucks + lots of shops for clothes, other restaurants and a money changer. Taxi from here to the city is about RM20. There is no public transport to speak of to Cheras, so be prepared to take a taxi to everywhere.
Personally, we felt a bit disappointed because we were expecting a services apartment type property and felt a bit let down. But if you were not expecting a serviced apartment and happy to stay in the burbs in a house - this place is pretty good and the landlord os most accomodating.
There is also a RM300 required on check in, which is refunded when you leave.
