Prescott hotel was good, great location, central to China town, sentral market and local transport. 1/2 walk to twin towers and great Indian restaurants close by.
The hotel was clean, bath and bed linen beautifully white and clean. The staff were very helpful and polite.
Tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, aircon and fan worked great. Wifi worked beaut in our room.
Definitely would stay again.

I've always been curious of how this hotel would look like inside. Have passed by the hotel so many times before and have always loved the exterior. Booked the room for my husband and friends for 2 nights for a wedding nearby. For the price we'd to pay, I'd say it's a lovely place to stay at.

The room was clean and cold, cozy bed and pillows, shower was really nice too.

Breakfast-wise, not too much variety but still, I was left full w the nasi lemak & fried kuey teow plus the toasts I had.

A convenient place to stay at if you're in KL as a tourist as it's just walking distance from KL Sentral.

I booked this hotel for value for money.
It is very reasonable considering that the property is about a 10-minute walk to the KL sentral station and NU Mall.

I couldnt get more fuzzy about my dislikes as Iam very aware that it is entirely a budget hotel and paying for such a very reasonable amount --- I cant expect for something really luxurious. It was fair enough to say that this is relatively a nice budget hotel. Cant complain much. : )

Over all I had a nice comfortable stay and having to sleep comfortably a night is what's important.

Room Tip: Get a delux room for more size and space

Terrific view from the room. The breakfast was good. The location near KL Sentral and the Botanical Gardens is convenient. The staff was friendly, especially the security guard at the front door.

Unfortunately, our first triple room (5th floor) was smaller than expected and crawling with all kinds of insects (in the room, above the beds, on the furniture, in the bathroom... everywhere). We arrived late in the evening and the reception desk clerk was unable to change our room at once. He promised we would have a new room available next morning and this promise was kept.

Our new room, on the seventh floor, was more spacious and there were no bugs. Our first night at the Prescott was a nightmare but our three next nights were OK. The train tracks and a busy street are right in front of the hotel so there was lots of traffic noise in the room, especially when the trains went by.

Room Tip: Avoid triple room on 5th floor our room on the seventh floor was much better

Thank you for writing in at Tripadvisor to review on our hotel, we are delighted to know that you've had a wonderful stay with us throughout the 4 nights stay.

Nevertheless, do accept our sincerest apology for having you going through a less that satisfied first night in our hotel. After you moved to the other room at 7th floor, we've already blocked & conducted a thorough pest control service for the room in 5th floor.

Meanwhile for the noise you've experience throughout the days of your stay, we do realised on that issue but since the rooms are facing directly toward a train track, it has been a challenge for us to find the best method in rectifiying this problem.

Rest assured, every comments & review we received were been taken seriously as to understand more on our guest to maximize on their comfort. Shall the journey brought you back to Kuala Lumpur again, do hope that Prescott Hotel KL Sentral can be the first choice in you mind. We only stayed for one night and sorry to say, but that was more than enough. Receptionists were polite and helpfull but room itself was pretty small and could be cleaned better. Bed was also very small and we almost couldn't sleep because there was no isolation on windows, I felt like the windows were wide open because of traffic noise we could hear.
Bathroom is also small and could be cleaned better.
To resume, if you need one night sleep for cc 25 euros this hotel will be ok.

Thank your taking your time in providing feedbacks on your stay with us. Firstly, allow me to also apologize on behalf of the management for the less than satisfied services and inconveniences that you encountered.

Rest assured, all the respective departments have been notified of their flaws & to improve on these matters immediately especially on the room cleanliness.

I too apologize again that some of our rooms may be a little noisy due to the proximity of our hotel with the highways. We are currently still looking for suitable method to reduce the noise especially the few affected rooms nearest to the road.
