“Best sky bar in KL”
Reviewed 16 August 2012

Stunning, new (opened July 2012) and in my opinion the best sky bar in KL. Serves 5 different, funky cocktails plus have a drink menu. Nibble / finger food not very special and expensive for what it is. very spacious with roofed and open area. Right next to the Petronas Towers. Advised to make a reservation. And they have a dress code (which is a good thing I think ;-))

“High altitude is the only thing going for this establishment”
Reviewed 16 August 2012

Everything from the arrival on the ground floor to the entrance on the 57th floor is very slick and well handled. Thats where it all ends. Other than the fact that the bar has a reasonable (but limited) view of KL, the place is very open and cold and lacking ambience. Service is not that crash hot. Drinks menu in the bar is very ordinary and whilst tapas menu looks good, actual food when delivered is very ordinary and nothing to get too excited about. The restaurant has just opened, but I am not sure if I am game enough to give it a go based on my experience. If it was not for the fact that this establishment can boast a high altitude location, I am not that sure that it would rate much of a mention in KL.

“Over-rated in terms of food quality &service”
Reviewed 12 August 2012 via mobile

Service- really bad. From the point when reservation was made, we had experience the bad service. The booking personnel, grace commanded us "not to wear shorts" and that statement really turned us off!

Besides the bad service, the quality of the food & beverage is really below average. The screwdriver is not made of fresh orange juice but orange cordial! Chocolate lava, is not fully melted.... We were disappointed from aperitif to dessert... If is not for the view n the environment, we will not consider this place at all!

“Good Italian with breathtaking views thrown in”
Reviewed 9 August 2012

This place opened originally as a bar on the topmost floor of KLCC Tower 3 and belongs to the Modesto's chain of restaurants and bars. The Bar was packed when we arrived and one is immediately taken in by the high floor to ceiling glass walls all around offering a fantastic view of the KL skyline and the Petronas twin towers just next door. It's worth it going up there just for the view. For this fabulous setting and location, the furnishing at the bar area could have been done better, although the large crowd that was there didn't seem to mind or notice.
The restaurant which is attached to the bar opened recently and has an Italian chef. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the breaded fried veal which was done to perfection. The wine selection was reasonable but by KL standards probably on the high side in terms of price.
