Very nice hotel located in the middle of city, 12 minutes walking distance from KLCC, Petronas tower.
The deluxe rooms are quite, clean and comfortable, the bath and shower are super amazing. Gym is in the 3rd floor good and the swimming pool is on the 4th also.
Very good value for money.

Thank you for dropping a review on TripAdvisor and I'm glad to know that overall, you had a positive experience in our hotel.

We've actually received many positive feedback on our strategic location as we're situated in the heart of the city close to offices and shopping malls, as well as a stone's throw away from the monorail station. My team and I thoroughly enjoyed reading your review and we are delighted that you enjoyed the newly renovated & restyled deluxe room as much as we enjoy showcasing it.

I can't wait for you to visit us again, hopefully in the near future.

Yours sincerely,
Robert Frager

My Wife and I stayed here for two nights on our way down from London to Australia, and it is a good stop over hotel. We usually stay at the JW Marriott, but this hotel had a ‘flash sale’ offering very low rates, so we changed our booking.

To get to the hotel from the airport by public transport, you can either get the KLIA Express, or one of the many buses to KL Sentral and then either get a taxi, or (if you are more adventurous) you can get the monorail from Sentral to Bukkit Nanos - this is cheaper, but not recommended if you have luggage, as the monorail gets VERY busy, and there are no escalators at Bukkit Nanos.

The hotel has been extended since we last stayed here and now has two wings, having taken over the New World hotel next door. We went into the west wing entrance to find the reception are closed and were directed to the east wing. The reception here was bit chaotic and our check in was confused to say the least. We were given room 2418 in the east tower, but given a key to get into the lounge in the west tower - just about as far away from our room as it is possible to be - we were told we could also use the lounge in the east tower, so couldn’t understand the reason for the west tower key.

Our room, 2418 was very clean and comfortable, with all of the usual Marriott trimmings and a very comfortable bed. It also had very nice views of the nearby Petronas Towers. It was fairly late when we checked in, but we had time for nice drinks and a snack in the east wing lounge.

On our first morning we went for breakfast in the restaurant on the ground floor. This was huge, but very busy with lots of children running round playing havoc with the items in the buffet. The staff were doing a sterling job clearing tables, and keeping the buffet stocked, but they seemed to be swimming against the tide. The second morning we went to the lounge for breakfast, which was much nicer - there wasn’t as much choice but the calm of the environment more than made up for this.
The hotel has a very big and pleasant pool area with lots of sun loungers and a nice pool bar. It is well situated for public transport and as a base to tour the city. We enjoyed our stay, but think we will go back to the JW on our next visit to KL.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I read with great concern on your comments and please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience that you faced here. This is certainly not reflective of our service standards and I have already highlighted this to the relevant Head of Departments for corrective measures moving forward.
As you may have heard, we are in the midst of a renovation in our West Wing Tower, some rooms and restaurants are not available, thus limiting the choices and the space availability. We hope that all our guests will be patient with this during this time as we renew our look. I recommend that you try our newly renovated Deluxe room the next time you visit Kuala Lumpur which you will not regret as it is contemporary and in line with our Renaissance branding.

Although we fell short of meeting your expectations during your recent stay, I hope you will consider Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel on your next visit to Kuala Lumpur so that we can better deliver upon the guest experience you deserve.

Yours sincerely,

I stayed in the east wing. This part of the hotel is quite old, but the hotel is very clean. The bed was very comfortable and my room had a great view to the Petronas Towers.
I forgot my iPhone charger and power bank in the room, could easily get it back after I got in contact with the Lost and Found department.
In the Pool the Staff need to be a bit more friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with view to the Petronas Towers

Good value and free updates. The bathtub is great. Hot shower system has good pressure and very hot. 10 percent service fee and 6 percent gst excluded. Right next to monorail stn. And close to shopping and eatery areas.

Decided to stay here with my husband while my son went to Perth for a vacation. Its in the middle of KL, so if you're a tourist this might be a good place to stay. KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Changkat (clubbing area) is within a taxi ride away.
The breakfast selection is on the average side and the food is quite nice.
We stayed in the East Wing with the pool view which is quite relaxing rather than watching the city and its traffic. The room is newly renovated too.
Getting out and about the town we use Grab car which is way cheaper than the local taxi. And easy for us. Hard Rock Cafe is just a walking distance but if U're too lazy to walk, with Grab car you pay only RM15 for the premium car.
Overall the place is okay..
