Look, it is what it is. Stayed in the budget room. You get what you pay for. PROS - Strong free wifi, AC room, good location. CONS - In desperate need of refurbishment, shared bathroom facilities, BASIC room, perhaps a little dirty. If you're on a budget it's sound! If you've got spare cash, go elsewhere.

This hotel is in a great location... near China town, little India, train station and bus station.
I stayed at this hotel for 7days and it was pleasant enough... the only down side was no window, but for the price you're paying you can't really grumble!
We had a comfortable bed,TV, aircon was great and breakfast was included. It's only toast with choices of butter, peanut butter and jam... but it's free! Also unlimited hot drinks all day!! Win.
Staff were also very friendly and helped my boyfriend and I with travelling around Kl.
Good stay.. would come back!
P.s. ... I recommend using the train to get around KL... it's so EASY and cheap!! 😉

First time I planned to go to Kuala Lumpur, I search the cheapest place to stay and Hotel Pudu 88 shown as the cheapest hotel near to the heart of the city.
I stayed here for one night and only paid 20rm/ night for female dorm. They have two bunkbeds for each dorm, so it means you don't need to worry your room will be so noisy.
The room is so clean and the bed is so comfortable enough. The hotel will provide you a towel, blanket, free wifi, and breakfast.
The hotel located almost in the heart of the city. You can walk to Berjaya Times Square, Puduraya, Central Market, and Petaling Street. If you go there by mrt, you can choose to get off at Imbi station or Pasar Seni.
In the night you can see the light of KL Tower behind the hotel.
But, when I stayed here they were renovating the hotel, so they its a little bit dirty at the aisle and bathroom.

Good location (close to pudu sentral and china town)
Friendly team - but the room is just correct.
Almost all the equipment works ;-)
The breakfast is light, bread - jam and coffee or team.
Perfect for 1 or 2 nights

Room tip: Ask for a window ....

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I was planning to book online a hote in chinatown area but i thought about walking arond and looking at the hotels around petaling street. I checked few, but i found them dirty except the few 3* which arent cheap.
I walked outside petaling and i saw few hotels in jalan pudu street. Its opposite the station so very convenient. The hote is cheap compared to the rest. 50 ringit booked online, including breakfast (toast and coffee).

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Can leave luggage there on last day for free.

The only issue i found is that the standard room is on the 3rd floor no lift.

Room tip: Book online, cheaper.
