“Location, Small & Clean!”
Reviewed 15 March 2012

This hotel has the best location in Kuala Lumpur! It's just right in Jalan Alor - the famous street where lots of hawker stalls around. The room is small, however, this hotel is superbly clean! FREE WiFi is provided in the entire hotel. This hotel is modern & cozy. I've booked my next stay here in May 2012! This hotel also has a promotion of RM9 for Single room from June until December 2012! Hurry up, book yours today!

I stayed here for 3days with one of my friend...actually the location isn't that bad (many restaurant in front of hotel and close to shopping center).. But it's REALLY far to go to airport and monorail station since monorail station is the closest public transportation station from here. The other options is by taxi that will knock the price, sooooo expensive... The drivers will state the price instead of using meters. And about the room...OMG I was sooo speechless.. If u have big body/ a little bit fat,I really suggest u not to stay here... I'm sure u won't be able to get in to the little tiny bathroom or walking beside the bed...and don't take too many luggages because it won't have enough space... But The good things from here is its cleanliness and free wifi..

Hi, we would like to thank you for your helpful and constructive feedback. We will take into consideration your comments to further better our services in the future.

Do take note that we are looking to expand our hotel in the near future and this should provide more space for our guests in the future. As for the monorail, we recommend taking the Bukit Bintang monorail as the station is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Thank you again for your feedback and we look forward to serving you better next time.

Have a great day ahead.

It was like a breath of fresh air amidst all the almost run-down buildings in the area. The cute apple theme is seen in the hotel from the lobby to the bathroom sink.

In terms of location, it was pretty accessible. Very convenient to walk around in the commercial district. Even walkable to the Petronas towers. It's right along the food street, so if you find yourself hungry at night, you can just go down and eat at the street restaurants.

The room is small, but being a small person myself, I thought it was perfect. With the price I paid, it was just right. All the amenities I needed were there - clean toilet & shower area, comfortable enough bed, free wifi, TV, strong aircon unit, and a balcony view.

If you have a thing for cute quirky hotels, this is one that can satisfy. :)

Pros- good location but stuck behind many of the food vendors. Wi fi worked well. Cons- tiny, tiny room- so noisy because of people living above the hotel. In 3 nights I got almost no sleep because of the thumping from above. Very noisy street and cramped rooms- bathroom contained enough space for toilet. Staff very ho hum- no service or help- all just playing computer games. The only helpful person was a women, the gen y boys could not have cared less! BEWARE- there is a 100 ringit deposit for the door card (not listed on the website). This could be a problem if you do not come with a credit card for the deposit. There were many, many hotels in this area that were cheaper or better. Not sure how Apple lets them get away with using their brand- it is certainly not up to the apple standard. I will not stay there again.

Room Tip: It is just a room (very small one) if you don't intend on spending too much time there!

Thank you for your feedback, please find below explanation to clarify your comments :

(a) Chinese New Year Festivities with Fireworks and Fire crackers at Alor Street, very noisy

(b) The neighbor next door at night use to knock and hammer something on to the floor.

(c) The y boys could not have cared less! BEWARE - the reason behind this is the center glass door at the lobby, especially after midnight the staff is very strict on the movement of the in and out guests, any guest(s) without Key's Cad access will not be easy to access, the staff on duty need to checked room's number, guest name etc. if the guest are not staying in the hotel, he need to call – up his or her friend from the room(s). security is very tight especially at night.

(d) RM100 deposit is the key’s deposit hold by the Apple hotel, guest can have the choice to verified by credit card or cash and refundable after check-out. Once there is NO missing any items belonging to the hotel definitely we will refund the money to the guest without any deduction.

Some facts not stated in the hotel website:
1. Rooms are very small, in fact it's the size of a store room and fits only one queen bed.

2. No windows or external light source.

3. Good wireless connection.

4. Flat screen tv which you have to lie flat on bed to watch cos it's hung on the ceiling.

5. Not just bad service but NO service. The receptionist is utterly unhelpful and not very smart. Don't expect friendliness or smiles.

6. No breakfast.

7. They rush you out for checkout. So do not expect to ask for a slightest extension,

8. Along Alor, near Bintang but noisy, messy, facade is smelly and filthy.

9. Toilet so small that you brush teeth, do business and shower at the same spot. All you can do is to turn around.

10. It is NOT that cheap given its wannabe facade and marketing. There is a bigger, as clean and cheaper hotel right across it which comes with excellent Old Town Coffee breakfast. It has much better service too.
