Rainforest Bed and Breakfast
Reviewed 26 February 2012

I was not bowled over by this place. I can't fault it either though.
4 flights of stairs were difficult, especially with no banisters or safety rail. But the staff helped us up with our luggage.

Room was tiny, barely enough room to move after we put our 2 backpacks and 2 carry-ons on the ground. But who cares, we had a big bed which was good as we are not a couple so wanted our own room in the bed. And the bed was extra comfortable. The room was decorated by green paint and low lighting. Bathroom was fine although I would have preferred a stronger shower.

Location is great; we walked everywhere!!

A very noisy nightclub nearby does not finish up till approx 4am... We didn't mind this though and never even noticed it the second night as we had had a few drinks ourselves!

Great Value for a great location; just don't be expecting luxury of any sort.

Ps the breakfast was decent too!!

The staff here are really friendly and knowledgeable. The building itself is quite nicely decorated and has a cozy feel. We enjoyed hanging out on the shared balcony in the evenings and thought the breakfast was pretty good (though by calling itself a "bed and breakfast" we thought the breakfast could have been a smidge nicer).

The room was tiny, really tiny, but it was still a nice place to escape from the KL heat with the AC cranked up while watching CNN (the TV was unexpected). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice, and everything was kept clean.

The price seemed to be at the upper end of "budget" for KL standards.

This place is excellent overall although walls are extremely thin. Staff are brilliant, breakfast excellent, wifi, tv in rooms etc starting at 115rm per night. Some carpets or matting on floors would help reduce noise but you really need earplugs.

My wife and I both agreed that this was one of the best budget hotels that we stayed at during our 2 week trip in Malaysia. The room was very clean and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was simple yet comfortable. The breakfast is basic but nutricious. The only recommendation I have is to add whole grain bread to your breakfast selection. It is located in a great area with tons of food and entertainment. It is also very close to pudrajaya bus station which was one of the reasons i booked here. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
