We stopped by here at the Kyoto branch which at the tenth floor of the Kyoto JR station. Self service for ordering and pre-payment at the kiosk, and then the ramen is served quite quickly. The stock is think and ramen is thinner than traditional ramen. They have two branches in Singapore, at Changi T3 and Tanjong Pagar.

After walking around Ramen Street for a bit, the group decided on this place, and man, I had no idea it could be sooo good. I am planning another trip just to eat here again. The broth was just so thick and flavorful. Everything in the bowl was amazing. Even the ramen noodles, while thin (I prefer thick), were still really tasty.

The highlight of the place for me was the chicken karaage. Holy crap, I thought I already knew what the best karaage tasted like... this place now holds the title of best karaage.

The broth of the ramen is very thick and delicious, as are the noodles, meat and egg. Priced at 1550yen each, the ramen is not cheap but it's the average price range of ramen in Japan. This shop is located at the Ramen Koji at Kyoto Station, 10F of Isetan department Store

The long line outside this restaurant was testament to its popularity. We ordered and paid through a vending machine and collected our meal tickets. Then we joined a long line of diners waiting for seats in the restaurant. We waited about 20 mins. before we got in. Once we were seated and the waiter collected the tickets, it didn’t take long for the food to be served. The ramen was served piping hot, the broth was absolutely delicious, and the thinly sliced pork was so soft and tasty. From where we were sitting, we could see the cooks in the kitchen. They were all busy doing their jobs and seemed unfazed by the constant stream of diners. The waitstaff are to be commended for their efficiency and friendliness.
The restaurant opens 1100-2200, last order at 2130. We were there at about 8pm on a weekday.
