We were staying at the Gran Mercure Hotel, which is in the same complex as the Sofitel where the Azur is. We had tried looking for a nearby restaurant but other than a Pizza Hut and a bunch of fast food outlets in a nearby mall - there really isn't anything else. We went to Azur after reading on-line that it had a terrific buffet - and it does!
The ambiance is nice and quiet as long as there aren't any kids, which we were lucky enough to avoid. The buffet features mostly Asian dishes but there were quite a few western dishes as well. And the dessert bar was just incredible. We had a great meal with a nice wine that we let Edwin, one of the hosts at the restaurant select for us. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
It was about $45 Canadian each but well worth it. We are both vegetarians and were able to have a good meal even though most of the dishes were meat or seafood based. Highly Recommended!
