This hotel is near to Beijing Road District but doesn't worth it at all. Room is dirty and old. Wallpaper are damaged. Furniture is old. Poor environment and security. The worst and most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed.

The hotel is in the centre of the city and quite convenient and close to the shops and restaurants. We stayed there as it was close to the wedding dresses streets, only 15 mins walk. If you are looking for the perfect wedding dress, Guangzhou is the best place for that. Metro is just across the street as well.

The best thing about this hotel, is the night street food that starts around 10pm just in front of the hotel. We had the roti chanai every night for 5 days and it is the best. Roti chanai with luncheon meat, lettuce and mayo. There are so many variety of food and you would want to try everything.

If you are looking for a clean hotel, well this is not what you can expect from there. There's mold everywhere in the rooms and it's quite stuffy as well. Bathroom needs to be wiped before use and wear your flip flops when you take a shower. It's cheap and you get what you paid for. We only slept there, we were out the whole day and would come back around midnight, so it was ok for a short stay.

I got my room thru an agent on the 28th floor (2813). They asked if i wanted a lower floor unit, which is older & a mediocre view or a higher floor unit with a fantastic view. I chose the latter (Room 3021).

Upon exiting the lift on that floor, i was aghast with the sight and smell that greeted me. The wallpaper are peeling, water stains on the ceiling, smell of fresh paint and turpentine and dimly lit corridor. Horror flick anyone?

Setting foot into my unit is shocker. The air is stale, the ac keeps shutting down, roaches in the fridge, no hot water, broken toilet door lock and crappy wifi. The repairman was efficient and apologetic. He managed to repair all but the ac. In the end, he offered a room change to 1911. End of story.
