Must do whilst your visiting due to the proximity to the masjid and the history of who has been buried here. Please read the notices as to how best to conduct yourself whilst visiting the graveyard.

It's a few minutes walk from the Prophet's Mosque (Peace Be Upon Him). A must visit when you pray at the Prophet's Mosque (Peace Be Upon Him).

Preferably not during, or around, noon time due to heat.

This is the resting place of many of the prophets Mohammad's relatives, and sahabas( his companions)
It is next to the Prophet Mohammad(pbuh) mosque.

Baqīʿis the principal cemetery of Medina.he oldest and historically most important Islamic graveyard. The word baqīʿ originally denoted a area covered with trees and scrub. The cemetery of Medina is the first exclusively Muslim burial-ground

Went there early in morning after fajer, it’s pretty crowded so I would recommend to wear casual and light shoes, once you enter then it gets easy as it’s huge landscape,
Graves are made in such a simple way, definitely shows the simplicity of islam
