The hotel was very good. My family and I stayed here for 6 days during our Umrah visit. Room service was good and quick. Food was okay. There was not a huge variety so we ended up eating the same things everyday which became a bit boring. The cleanliness was good. Some people say it was dirty but Alhamdulilah ours wasn't. The air conditioner was bit difficult to use as it was digital. The view was Brilliant! The beds were nice and cosy. There was a lot of room to fit in 15 suitcases and more. The was a lot of storage place. The room card pass was excellent. The only problem was the lifts. They took really long. There was always dirty plates and objects left outside in the hallway (don't know why). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The door bell came in use. The staff cleaned the room regularly. A lot of sockets to plug in appliances. TV always worked. The Wifi was free and always worked. The location was near the prophet's mosque which was the best bit. I recommend this hotel although there will be disappointments here and there but you should be greatful for what you have.

Room tip: The higher the room the longer it takes to get there when using the lift.

Do not believe what the hotel says. The food was horrendous in the main restaurants.
Claim to be a 5* hotel, but in reality it looks like a 4* hotel.
Wi-Fi is very very poor in the rooms.
Look for some other hotel if you have the money!

The location is very good near to masjed nabawy specially to women entrance. We took a family suite so it was so specious also the bathroom was, the water in the toilet was so weak. We had a wonderful view on masjed nabawy. The room looked clean but my sister said that she foud hair on the bed. Also the bed hedboard has stains on it. Wifi is awful in rooms. Room service was OK although they don't speak arabic or english good but just request what you want from them. We had 2 A/C in the room one of them was on 19 and refused to change so we had to turn it off. Breakfast was just ok nothing special, the hot choices was little and not suitable for every one plus they don't write the name of every kind beside it, you have to ask to know. The service team in the breakfast room isn't enough, you have to wait for a time to find someone helping you. The overall stay was ok but the location is very good.

Room tip: Take a room in the corner with a view to masjed.

Royal Dyar Hotel in Medina Saudi Arabia is Excellent hotel to stay. Location wise it is nearest to Musjid-e-Nabwi so you can go to mosque after starting of Azan. Hotel rooms are big and comfortable. Environment is nice. You can shop everything nearby. Buffet breakfast is of good quality.

Very comfortable hotel . Well priced for the average consumer . Acceptable location ( next to Madina Hilton & only about 100meters from the Haram Sharief . Not a very extensive spread for breakfast (then again how much can you eat ??? - wife & kids did not enjoy it at all ) although the chef assigned to the egg & omelette table was in a class of his own .... very accommodating & he makes a mean omelette with your choice of filling . Fair selection of fresh cut fruit etc. Fortunately checking in & out was not too bad . Housekeeping service was very good .

Room tip: Any room will do because you will in all probability be there for Umrah . Make sure that the bed & toilet do not face Qibla (our Haanafi mazhab does not allow that )
