The hotels only plus point is the distance to Masjid AlNabwi (3 minutes). Otherwise I would class the hotel as no more than 3 stars. Some points to note:

1. Rude housekeeping who are stingy 're towels and toilet roll, and who only clean / make up the room when asked (despite sign placed on door handle requesting room be made up!);

2. Trying to get hold of someone to fix anything in the room means you're being passed around from pillar to post. Each number dialled for help when finalky answered tell you to ring another number. Then they start claiming "me no English" when initially they'd be speaking perfect English;

3. Our fridge didn't work so we asked maintenance to fix it. After several calls someone came and claimed the fridge was working yet the drinks within were lukewarm! We called a few hours later and after an hour maintenance came again but this time he told us that the item we were trying to fix is not a fridge but a safety box!!! We had to hide our amusement particularly as there's a sign inside the fridge saying "refrigerator" and that if it was a "safety box" then it's a first we've seen which has no lock and key combination (there's a safety box in the wardrobe). Eventually our neighbour kindly let us swap fridges with them.

In summary - the hotel is not the standard it claims, the pictures are deceptive, the food at both meal times is mediocre, the service is atrocious BUT if it's distance to the masjid you're after then this is the only plus point.

The hotel is classified 5 stars when actually it should not be more than 4. With the tradition of placing 4 guests in any double room during this period of the year, the room size and facilities are just 3. The plumbing system in the toilet is very bad with water dripping everywhere. The bath tub was clogged and the plumber didnt care to fix it. The AC needs 20 minutes to start. I had to argue for more than half an hour in order to get an extra pillow. Room service is very bad and neither the operator nor the receptionist care to answer any call unless you go there in person asking for the manager in duty, who was never seen at his desk in the lobby. The lobby and coffee shop are so small, almost the size of a room. Bottom line: one of the worst hotels i have ever been to

Overall Nice Hotel, certain areas need to be improved. Room Service during my 7 days stay only twice my room was made up on request. Choice of food was good but reparative. As I was visiting during Hajj season the service was what expected.

The hotel is ideally located within the central area of the Haram and features an entrance on the main street and a back entrance that connects to the dark streets leading to the Prophet's Mosque and the hotel lobby is good for coffee break time and reception of the guests, for the rooms is considered to be in terms of equipment but need to change such as the room Old and worn and need to be cleaned more by internal supervision but the bathrooms are still very good to use

We hope that the hotel management will take care of renovations for the corridors of the corridors and the rooms and attention to the cleanliness of the rooms, especially under the beds
