Clean rooms, wide bathrooms, friendly stuff, great breakfast - all this makes staying at Avanta quite comfortable. A bit remote from the noisy city centre but the nearest subways station ('Beryozovaya roscha') is about 5-7 minutes away on foot so it's easy to get anywhere you need. Being new is a real bonus for the hotel, as there are others in the same price category but way older (Soviet heritage) so you'll get less for your money.

Booked the place for a weekend trip to Novosibirsk based on the reviews here and can agree in general.

The hotel is good, the staff is for Russia quite friendly, although not all of them speak English. The room was quite spacious, the bed good, and there is all you need. From simple slippers, an in room safe (which I somehow managed to lock, but not to open anymore ;-), thank god they have a key at the reception) and the shampoo/ear plugs in the bathroom.

The fan in the bathroom is a bit annoying, the water takes a long time to get really hot, but otherwise it was all working fine and without problems. The bed was very comfy, although the rooms are not isolated like in a 5* property. You can hear neighbors from the next room.

The WiFi is pretty fast and works like a charm. The breakfast buffet looks nice, although the choice is rather limited and didn't appeal to me very much, but I am also pretty fuzzy. But I still found some bread and juices and blini to get a good start into the morning.

The location is also not bad, within 5 minutes walking of the metro station and quite in the center.
