Visiting Bulgakov Museum it is in a way of learning about living 90 years ago in Moscow. Sharing kitchen, have your one room to live and write and sleep. Take a walk in the area as well visit Restaurant Margarita. You have it all from the famouse writer.

There are two Bulhakovs memory places at the same address. SO called Bulhakov House is less interesting, though a nice sculpture Of Koroviov and Behemot at front, as well as Berlioz head under the tram inside make it quite spectacular. The best value is for people who understand Russian as it is a solid story on Bulhakovs Life and work. The guide are very informative, believe me, but they speak Russian. The happiest visitors are local studenta, Bulhakovs lovers, as it makes a value. For people with no Russian - just a 20 min meeting plus a good tea in the stylish cafe. Still worth 4-5 euro cost.
There is another muzeum at this address, the apartment number 50 museum, inside the yard. You need to ring a bell there. Which is also small but modern, expresses real Master and Margaret style, more mysterious. Still not much English but the very atmosphere will impress the novel lovers. This was the real Bulhakov's flat which was pictured as Berlioz/Lichodeyevskis flat, mthen Woland's apartament.m

The house is very small and you don't need more then 15-20 minutes to spend inside it, especially if you're not speaking Russian, but still has some memorable peaces from the history of Bulgakov's life.

We wanted to see something unusual in Moscow, and our guide suggested us to go there.
You have to go upstairs without elevator, but it was worth to do it. Inside there are many odd exhibits, if you are familiar with this novel of Bulgakov, everything will be interesting for you, if not, still you will be curious to see and even touch something.
There was a phone which you pick up and can listen to talking of Begemot cat.
My kids were happy to talk on the phone. They were happier to see REAL black cat walking around in the room and posing for photos. That was awesome!
