Very good location I was happy to find out that the metro station was only a few hundred feet away from the hotel and also on the plus side there is an indoor mall right behind it a McDonald's and KFc also within walking distance the things I didn't like about the hotel is the lack of an elevator and the room being so small but I was happy overall with my stay at Fortis hotel

Room tip: Room was small everything worked fine it was just small

We are here for the World Cup. The hotel entrance is not obvious from the street, I first entered the shisha bar, then the hair saloon then the hotel finally - signage not obvious.

The reception staff are extremely freiendly and helpful, spoke excellent English. There is a about 20 steps to the reception and then another 10 to the first level of accomodation, we weren’t offered assistance and lugged the luggage up the stairs ourselves.

Room was tiny very little room to move. Bathroom door opened inwards into the room while the room door opened out into the corridor, real strange set up. Bathroom is ok size, shower cubicle is tiny. Water pressure was good.

Location is very close to a metro station, and it’s a short 2 stop ride into town. Not much else around the area. The small vendor market next door is great, prices are very reasonable and food is fresh.

Here for the World Cup, and while nearly everything in Moscow upgraded for the World Cup 2018, Fortis didn’t get the memo. For the jacked up price, it was a fail. You carry your luggage to the reception which is 20+ steps from the entrance, and all the way to your floor. I pity the old men that had to carry their luggage themselves.

NO clear SIGNAGE outside! The rooms have big bulky dressers given the lack of space. You can’t walk around your bed.

Shower: Low pressure and changing temperatures; small shower space that if you turn on shower it sprays directly out of the shower; the bathroom door opens outwards and is hard to access from bed area.

Area: About 9km from the city center and far away from everything; area is intimidating for foreigners;

Love: the fruit vendors selling affordable fruit all around; house slippers they provided; location near the subway

The Hotel is great and a very good service. Located just 2 minutes walk from Dubrovska metro station which takes you to city centre in 15 minutes. The breakfest was great, a combination of internatnional and russian. I also recomend that you try out the restaurant which has a good food.

The only bad thing I can say is that we orderd a transportation through the hotel to the inthernational airport for 3500 rubles which is quite expensive when I asked other people.

Very clean hotel with nice bed linen. Reasonable price. Just few minutes walk from Metro. We were able to get early check in after night train from St Petersburg. Friendly and helpful staff. Just 3 levels. Only drawback is no lift. They did organise somebody to carry our bags up which was good
