We stayed for one night at this hotel in november. The room was clean and big enough. You can see that it is not a new hotel but it was clean and we especially loved the confy bed.
The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that the rooms are not soundproofed and you can hear everything from the hallway.
The location was also good.

This is the very first time I write any review concerning hotel.
I've been to Romania 14 times already and I have stayed in many different hotels (also cheaper than NH Timisoara), mainly in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara. This one is the worst so far...

- AC which can only heat
- no possibility to open the window in the room because of the insects
- unpleasant smell in the bathroom and thick air in the room (beacuse of 2 points above)
- COCKROACHES in the room!!!!

After few days of living in the room which cannot be ventilated with warm air coming in from AC, you simply want to spend as much time as possibe being outside.

I do not recommend it to anyone. It is pitty that so well rated hotel is so bad.
Myself and my collegues are travelling to Timisoara vey often and I will definitelly guide them to other hotels...

Dear Mr. Waldemar A.,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the small flying bugs or the AC functionality.

As the notice found in your room, we have asked each guest not to open the room windows because of the invasion of these small insects which might enter in your accommodating space. Sorry for this unpleasant experience but was the only solution for keeping away these bugs.

Regarding the AC, we are sorry we couldn't provide cooler atmosphere in your room, but at the end of October we have at night, outside temperature going under 10 degrees Celsius, and as our guests preferences we provide heating on these particular fall days.

As I consider your conclusion based on these facts, is a little bit rough, I would like to have you back in the near future so we can prove to you that we are actually one of the best 4 star hotel you have stayed so far.:)

Good hotel with nice facilities, like small gym, 2 saunas and bikes to use for free. Breakfast could be better but it is standard in Timisoara.
Highlight was the massage ! ! Great work and thanks for the tips

arriving at 1pm no room avail before 3pm. thats ok even if i wonder all rooms ready at the same time At 3pm checked in and got a room which was occupied already. back to reception and finaly got a new room. 8 pm ordered a sandwitch for in room dininig. room service charge must be oaid cash !?? 10 minutes later got a call no sandwich available. aircon is only heating not cooling bad start NH !!

Thank you so much for your feedback.

We are very sorry for the bad experience, I hope we can receive somehow. a second chance from your side.

On the day prior to your check-in, we were fully booked, this is the reason why we couldn't provide before 15.00 o'clock ( the standard check in hour ), a room for you.
So in order to offer you as soon as possible a room, I assume my front office colleagues got confused and made a mistake by providing you first, an occupied room.

Unfortunately during the night the outside temperature is decreasing to 2-3 grades Celsius, so being a centralized A.C. we can have the system working on only one mode: cooling/heating. So even, we had on this days of October, few hours of 30 degrees Celsius, we prefer to have our guests sleeping comfortable during the night, with the risk of having a temperature of 25 degrees in rooms during the afternoon.

Regarding the missing menu item and the fact that the room service fee was asked to be paid in cash, I will have a meeting with the colleagues responsible and I assure you, we will correct all of these unpleasant reactions from our side.

Anyway, for all of these inconveniences, we do hope to accept our apologies, and to give us the opportunity and honour to have you back as our guest again.

Poor services. Receptionist is saying that there is no other room available and the cleaning in romms can not be controlled. That's it. No other comments needed. Hope never come back. Do not recomand this hotel.

Please accept our apologies for all the inconveniences we have caused.
Unfortunately the entire city of Timisoara, is passing these days through difficult times with this invasion of small flying bugs.

We really did and still do all the actions possible to not have these bugs inside the hotel: many disinsection actions, announcements in rooms for guests in order not to open the windows, and many more. Unfortunately, we couldn't stop totally the presence of these uninvited creatures. :(
